Thanks for posting the new video. I have the Bacman and Hornby 08's as well. As you say, the Bachman runs a lot smoother, think there is a flywheel in it to let it negotiate pointwork smoothly.
Still using DC control as you know, have yet to go digital !!,

Very good review. They are such great engines! Mine can easily run over points without stopping, where all my other engines would need a little push or a bit more speed over them.

The top speed of an 08 typically 20 mph, so SLOW!!
