@perixanfin because the point of the shooting was Jimmy had felt he was invisible and nobody noticed him anymore. When parents were looking for their kids, Brooke spoke to a mum who said her daughter told her she was best friends with her (obviously to make her mum think she was popular). Brooke was upset to realise she didn't know who she was and Jimmy was right about the popular kids ignoring everybody.
