  • which tyres do you use? 26' or 28' ? and the gear seems to be very low....

  • Im wondering if the new charge scissor v3 has good barspin clearence with 47c tires?

  • i ride an eigthinch fixed and my bmx bike.. both are fun, bmx is better though

  • I personally think that riding a Fixed is not about hipsters nor the trick. I ride for the fun of it. Cycling between cars and just that grin on your face as the wind blows your face.

  • nice to hear the music from sprung 2

  • Hard to believe this video is almost three years old already.Makes me miss the good ol days when people rode 700c without pegs.

  • @Cyclopsifications i ride 700c in the back no pegs, what are you worried about

  • I wanted to write fucking gays but you guys are actually pretty good

  • 0:46 Best Ever !!!! :D

  • what are the difference between fixed gear and charge bikes?

  • @ILIKEKPOP1 As far as I know "Charge" is a UK based bicycle company that produces many different styles of bikes including fixed wheel/gear. Apparently they are taking the lead in designing a more "freestyle" fixie. Another evolution in the bike world. Kinda a bastard of a single speed 29er and a track bike.

  • 2:33 they're late for snapes class

  • @cobramomba LOL!

  • Very nice vid and you guys seems pretty cool, but i think you are taking fixie out to a level where it should be only BMX/MTB, i mean come on. Fixie is made for the flat streets, so don't try to be different and cool just because you ride them in the back country. I could take my cross country skiis to the park and be different to the free stylers on their tt, but yet be lame to look at. Everyting has its own element.

  • @ChristianSeifert your comment = fail. Fixed gear tricking has longer history than bmx and mtb. watch?v=5DsH21T0AEY

  • Comment removed

  • a huge decline and they can't even enjoy it freewheeling. that's what i don't like about fixies.

  • Fixed or against foot pedal?

  • 2 people ate shit the first time they rode a fixed gear. 0_o

  • does anyone know what jacket he is wearing when is doing the interview?

  • man i would kill for one of their bikes :/

  • 2 time fall for the win :)

  • /watch?v=9kttyjT2YfQ

now that's a manly video...not three girls frollicking around...

  • this is just depressing

  • Is this the plug freestyler

  • Well I have nothing against fixed gear bike, I think they're sick.

But I wouldn't say I would want to replace my bmx bike for one.

  • "not afraid to f*ck my bike up i guess?"

    greatest quote ever! xD

  • I remember this song on Sprung 2 years ago 97-98'ish? Loved that VHS and this song 'A Sense of Home - The Swindonians'... Aah memories lol.

  • songs?

  • Beautiful.

  • Super Ted rules!! :)

  • how did make those text intro animations?

  • how do u guys skid like that? every time i try i have to put my body forward!!! someone tell me how

  • @lilgangsta95 Im pretty sure you need to be going pretty fast, just so its easier. I havent tried it, but thats what it looks like to me.

  • @EmoblogerKid ive tried it is still hard as hell

  • that is the first fixed bike video i´ve ever seen. i just thought something like "what hte hell are they doing ther? how are they braking? and why those roadcycles aren´t breaking?!" now i ride a fixie, too. i´m not one of these kids which are doing this just to be cool. and i really can say this about me, without lying. :)

  • are fixies just like normal bikes? ride to college, days out riding and all that? or are they make for like tricks and such?

  • @LazyDuckable personally i ride mine purely for transport, it keeps you super fit, then the hipster guys got hold of em and its become a real big deal, you can do tricks even more so now as you can get 'freestyle forks and headsets for them also. peace!

  • @LazyDuckable Fixed wheel is a drive train, not a type of bike. You can buy or convert any type of bike with a fixed wheel. As well as the sort of "fixies" you see here I have ridden American balloon tire cruisers and old Raleigh sports with fixed wheels (and either of these make a GREAT general riding fix). My main bike is a fixed wheel touring bike, with front and rear cantilever brakes and luggage racks. Some people even ride fixed wheel mountain bikes.

Pick your bike, THEN fix it. Ride.

  • @IsaacBickerstaffEsq You can't convert any type of bike into fixed, what about horizontal dropouts.

  • @SteVeYG215 "what about horizontal dropouts."

They make life easier, don't they? All of the TYPES of bike I mentioned are available with horizontal dropouts, as are BMX, folders, low riders, tall bikes, choppers, cargo trikes . . . throw in some more if you can think of any.

Of course there are also eccentric bottom brackets and eccentric hubs.

  • @IsaacBickerstaffEsq Your comment saying any type of bike can be converted is going to confuse people and make them think ANY type of those bikes can be converted when that is not the case. Because select few of those types of bikes you named CAN be converted. I have 2 mountain bikes and 1 bmx bike in my garage that can't be converted and theyre just the norm bikes ppl would usually own.

  • @SteVeYG215 he is right. Any bike can be converted. Though a bike with vertical dropouts will need the (quite expensive) Eno Eccentric Hub. This hub is a brilliant idea and it can indeed turn any regular bike into a fixie. I've seen it done IRL. Sorry if this confuses people but it's a fact.

  • whats the song called

  • @TheNiggaWidAttitude the track list is at the end

  • what is the song name? please

  • okay, ive read the credits. :p

  • cool video but fuck, this is not fixie tricks!!!

  • where can i get a charge bike?? is there a website?

  • awesome! thanks a million.

  • What kind of frame is the bike? I have been trying to figure out what kind frame it is. Because the tires way fatter than them track bikes. I need something like that. I ride BMX also. but i want a fixie but something handles like a bmx. If you can help me out. Let me know...thanks.

  • @mrmightydik just get a track frame get some strong wheels and put some thick tires on it

  • @mrmightydik

    charge scissor frame

    charge scissor fork

    any random 700c wheel set

    maybe 700x38c?

  • nice

  • sweet jumps, so hard to time that stuff

  • yeehaa, rock da roll!!

  • haha learn how 2 ride a bike
