Good,but you should put double cut linked to added cut(instead deathblow).First hit will do same as death blow,but it has more probability to hit the enemy.;)

First, Double Cut can't be linked with Added Cut.

Second, Deathblow can't miss thanks to the Mystile (I explain how Hit% works in the regular Hojo battle).

Third, this battle is a demonstration of how Safer would go down in a speedrun, i.e. there is no time to pick up Double Cut.

I believe lolo uses Cait Sith in his speed runs because of his Dice limit break, which deals fixed amounts of damage. This means that Cait does not have be at any particular level in order to deal max damage with his limit.

Of course, there is an element of luck involved (they call it Dice for a reason >_>), so if the damage for Dice is sub-par, he reloads his last save, enters the boss fight, and tries to get better damage.

Not only was there no time to pick it up, but there is no time to learn the required limits (you have to learn all the limit breaks to be able to use the Item)....Cloud didn't even learn Blade Beam, he's still stuck with the level 1 Limits >.>

Besides that, Omnislash wouldn't deal very impressive damage at that level, even with a Hero Drink.

I think the point in that is, if this indeed IS a speedrun, the shorter the names are, the more seconds you get out of the completion time. You see, when field messages roll, they roll faster when the name is shorter. It isn't much, but when speedrun is taken to the max, it DOES matter.

yes it is does matter for a speedrun, and is one of BrutalAl's many brilliant ideas =] i use this "technique" and it might only cut off seconds but every second matters

Force Stealer is a nice Double Growth Weapon for Cloud which you get very early in Disc 1 (when you're in Junon after the Parade when you meet the Mayor).. Get 100% or more there and he'll give you that.
