I love all your videos. I started my own journal pages thanks to your method. I had taken a class at a rubber stamping store, paid a fortune and didn't really get much out of it. Your videos are all fun, funny, real and exciting. Thanks for the great ideas.

Isn't focusing on making writing look good defeating the whole purpose of a journal? to make thought and feelings flow out of us onto the paper?

Not really. Handwriting all depends on how you're feeling at the moment. Looking at different styles of it is the same to your mood as picking a color for your entry's background or a collage element to paste down.

I think making the text as pretty and interesting as the rest of a page in an art journal is another way to embellish the page. I agree with Samantha my mood can very much be recognized by how I am writing. Nice vid Sam thanks for taking the time to give some new ideas to add to our pages (by the way, the less common and mundane the happier I am, so funky text is a thumbs up in my book. =)
