@inverkenny Yes, Willie recorded with The Incredible Fling Band and if you email neillieach who comments above, he may still have some cassette tapes of that unique voice now sadly gone.
Sadly Willie died on Wednesday 7th January, 09. His funeral will be at Lochcarron Parish church at 11am Saturday 10th January, 09. Willie was a great muscian, he was a lovely man and will be very much missed.

Although the quality poor, noisy beggars but then thats Plocky, Willies essential essence and timber are captured wonderfully.
He was such an inspiration to me and all who heard him.

I remember listening to great music like this at Plockton Inn sessions. Good place to go when visiting the Scottish West Coast.
