2 things: Firstly, some of the comments/questions about this video are freaking retarded. Second, this film absolutely shit on the other two films. The acting was 90% better, the story was a billion times more interesting, and I liked the characters. The old age setting knocks the modern gun bullshit of the first two straight out of the park. I wish the series started after this one.

Honestly, I thought the 1st one sucked. So, they revamped it a bit and the 2nd was better...the 3rd was the best by far...and unless they find a way to bring Lucian back...I can't see a reason to see the 4th...they've killed off some of the best characters...Lucian, Viktor, Marcus, Willem...I'm Selene and Michael were not captivating. They were good but not great.

This was the 3rd movie and the original Sonya was blonde...I think Rhona Mitra was a wonderful choice to update and breathe real life into Sonya - who was quite abstract up until this point. It is a common story line but With Michael Sheen & Bill Nighy leading the cast; their acting and talent made it exceptional.

Awsome Movie, but the 1st 2 were a little better. The book series is great too, in this series there is also a book not covered in any of the movies it covers Sonja before her mother died so, if you're interested, it's 4 books. Dont read them in the order they were published. To fully understand the story you need to read Blood Enemy, Rise of The Lycans, Underworld & Underworld Evolution, They all jump around in time in the movies and the books. It can get confusing. I think that's Exactly why! It would be to confusion for some to determine who was Sonja & who was Selene. I think they did a good job with the casting though. Sonja looks alot like Selene & acts somewhat similar to Selene but not enough to confuse the 2 different characters.They never said that Selene and Sonja were Identical, they just said that Selene reminded Victor of Sonja which means they probably just favoried one another in looks & personality...

the reason they didn't put kate beckinsale in this movie because it's like a prequel. they chose a woman who looked like her because in the first one, they talked about how victor couldn't kill her because she reminded him of his daughter sonja so it would make no sense to put her in because she wasn't thought about yet.

After the first two, I thought it wasn't necessary for them to release this story, and they did it was complete shit. Kate Beckinsale is the only one for this part. Where they cast some woman that can't even pull it off. The action scenes were shitty, and didn't fit well with the movie. The blood was animated, and so were teh lycans jumping out of the trees. This installment of Underworld is crap.

I haven't seen this one yet, but Selene isn't in it right? I figured because Lucian and Sonja were forbidden lovers and Viktor killed Sonja because she was pregnant by Lucian who is a werewolf. All of this happened before Selene came around. Viktor only kept Selene around because she reminded him of Sonja his daughter right? I love the Underworld movies. I just need to see this one :)

Lucian is sweet. I like how in the first book when he and Sonja meet eachother in the tower, he just suddenly runs up to her and basically rips her clothes off. What a man. :P I also like when he takes his moon collar off and turns into a full lycan and scares the shit out of Sonja AND the other lycans about to attack her.
