  • @lildrea54 You're very welcome!

  • Since I learned the Greek alphabet on my own, I noticed the striking similarities between that and Cyrillic. But not surprising since the Bulgarian alphabet was invented by two monkeys from Thessaloniki.

  • @Cephas '...two monkeys from Thessaloniki...' ?

  • what did the woman said to the father? ooo I missed the twist...

  • @OLudOvideos She said "it's 30$ father, just like on the outside".

  • Oh well, I guess speaking with Russian accent gives you pleasure (3:17-3:36 hahah). Thanks so much for such lessons - you are the greates. :-)

    Regards

  • Вот ведь что интерсно- это он специально говорит с таким неебическим акцентом или хохмы ради?

  • The one does not necessarily exclude the other, Arkan.

  • The first time I watched this I couldn't roll my R's, and I came back just to see how you did it and now I can perfectly. YAY!

  • Great rolling of "r" :-)

  • I can roll my r like that, yarrrrrr!

  • i cant roll my rs much. only once or twice but i cannot keep it going

  • It calls for stamina, and technique. Keep trying!

  • Yea when I learned Spanish i could not roll my r's for anything...but I just kept trying and eventually I got it. No idea how, just persistence I guess. The same way I learned to whistle. If you can do it once or twice you are on the right track :)

  • guess what? I just got it with the help of his Rs video :) it is sort of tiring and forced and I exhale really hard, but i got it! Now to add the R sound to the roll.......

  • Very nice, well done :)

  • спасибо

  • All around my schat

  • Что за рожа хаха, узбек что ли.. Мдаа.

  • Your lessons are amazing! Спaсибa (I hope that is spelled right)

  • Thank you so much for your videos! I am slowly trying to teach myself some Russian.

I have one request, could you make a video showing the correct way to write the Russian alphabet on a piece of paper. Also, is there different writing styles in Russian? In English, there is normal English writing, and cursive English writing.

Thank you again for helping people discover the Russian culture!

  • You'll find that at the end, in the tenth lesson in this series, where I bring it together into the set alphabetical order and write it down also.

  • Thanks, I have to work my way up to that lesson!

  • I love learning Russian culture and language. ya budu v Moskve... in September. Your videos are great!

    Spasibo Viktor!

    Spokoynay Nochi.

  • hi, in serbian the letter "B" is always pronounced "B"(=V). I wondered if it was also the case in russian, because sometimes it seems to me that I hear "F" or "Ф", perticularly on name endings... For instance is it HuliganoV or HuliganoFFFF ?

  • Good question. In Russian, as in Polish, voiced plosive and fricative consonants lose their voiced quality at the ends of words. However, when followed by other words in a vowel or in a voiced consonant, this may often not happen. So you can hear "Govorit Huliganoff" but Huliganov govorit if the words are elided. If pronounced more separately you'll hear "Huliganoff govorit"

  • wow swift response! much clearier now! thaks!

  • Fem sjärnor, kamrat Viktor.
