  • You have got to be kidding me!!! a few days ago I had this great idea to make a movie on The egg, switching characters for the dead person, walking through a forest, I even had the boat! I was super excited about my whole idea so I decided to see if anyone else had tried to film "The egg"..... don't get me wrong, this was a really good version of it, the symbolism was magnificent! and while the acting wasn't the best it was still good, I still enjoyed the movie very much! Thanks for making it!

  • Guy in gray jacket with white v-neck was amazing...everyone else was...ehhh

  • is this not just an adaptation of the Chinese Creation story of 'Pan Gu'??

  • Great video, guys. I love the story, but just one criticism. If the girl is supposed to be the chinese girl from 540AD, which is a great concept, she should be dressed in period clothing and she shouldn't know who Abraham Lincoln is lol But otherwise great vid.

  • The girl can act better than that guy, Adam guy. And why did he put her hands on her? Lols.

  • I love this story, and your interpretation was amazing. Good job!

  • Great job! enjoyed the hell out of that!

  • I liked the music but it seemed a bit climactic in the wrong parts. Great job though. I really like your take on this.

  • Not gonna lie, the acting seemed a bit...forced. But it seems like with what you had, you did a pretty decent job.

  • @akjk1212 Thanks! We definitely think that we could have done the film better…

  • That was amazing you guys. I hope you don't mind, but l posted a link to this on my facebook.

  • @ToxicFaeries No problem! Thank you.

  • Excellent interpretation guys

  • @ScottCraigShorts Thank you! :D

  • @WereFromTheCure Thank you so much! It's great to hear people enjoy our stuff. :)

  • what is the name of the song that plays in the intro? I know it but I cant place it.

  • @AndrewBeasley88 It's the Hello Seattle remix.

  • I read this short story a little while back but forgot what it was called. You did an amazing interpretation of it, the music was just perfect, and In a way I feel this sort of theory/reality would be the ideal one. In that case everybody would be 'right' because it would be the same oneness just looking at life, through different facets of a shattered pane. Something confounding to think about but we'll never know until the end; which may very well be just another one of countless beginnings.

  • @Raelsatu Thank you! We were really proud of the music choice as well.

  • Great job, thank you!

    Sascha from Germany.

  • @saschi333 No, thank you!

  • Just read the short story, and I decided to look up if anybody had adapted/interpreted it into a short film. Seems I was beaten to the punch. Oh well, you guys did a fantastic job on this.

  • @GollnerProductions Thanks for the kind words! There's always room for different interpretations. Don't let ours keep you from filming.

  • This would be a really awesome video just with better acting

  • @Leviktuz We did what we could with what we had. But yeah, I agree that we could alway have better acting.

  • I only see two of the three actors credited. Who is the third?

  • @dfeuer The third didn't want her names in the credits, initially. Because she's fine with it now: her name is Tracy.

  • Love this interpretation. I am curious though; is the soundtrack a song by Stars of the Lid?

  • @AperturezerO Thank you! The songs are by Brian McBride, who is Stars of Lids.

  • my friend and i discussed the possibility of the story a couple months ago when i first read it, and i thought to myself, "what if 'the light at the end of the tunnel' you see when you die is just you coming out of the womb?" anyways, you did a great job, keep up the good work!

  • @cinemaparadisofilms Thanks for the feedback… I think the light at the end of the womb would have been an interesting idea. I'll make sure to mention that with the others who worked on the film. — Ryan G.

  • Well done, glad to see some great film makers at gssm.

    Keep it up!

  • @saber8689 Thanks for the compliments, man!

  • I love the use of the dissolve.

Very well done. Indeed, I would even go so far as to say that this brought me cinematic joy.

  • @TarheelLily Was it poignant, though?

  • Love it.

  • That was good
