this was performed by sir henry wood for the last night of the proms in london from 1895-1944 i dont think mike oldfield was alive. lol. its still played at the last night now.
I like very much the form you play this song. I am going to buying the Tyros 2 and I would like that you will help me on the way of connecting a pedal to control 4 variations of musical rhythms, I dont know if this pedal exist. The same system that I see you in your video.
Hi, I'm sorry for the delay in this response, I've been very busy. You programme the rhythm and other variations into registrations, then you set the correct sequence of registrations and then switch through them sequentially with a foot switch programmed to switch registrations. I hope that helps and that you have and are enjoying your Tyros 2.
lol you did great. This song brings back some good memories! it would be even better if you played a bit more LIVELY! and up tempo! anyways...great job!
I'm sorry I missed this comment before. If you search the web for the Sailors Hornpipe you'll find the sheet music in various keys is available for free. I had to work out which chords worked well, but it ended up at just 5 chords. Hope that helps.
Seeing your 'out takes' has given me encouragement to continue with my music on you tube. I play the first tyros and gig with it. Great sound well done. Bob R.
Thanks Bob... and glad to be able to provide encouragement, although gigging is an entirely different game of course where you don't get much chance for out takes lol. I found this a particularly difficult piece to finger correctly but once I had it worked out, it was ok. Thanks again.
I absolutely love it. Truly amazing sound. If you close your eyes and listen there's no way it's not a full orchestra playing. Well done STBurger. Absolutely brilliant.
Super arrangement. Well done.

Very good! I liked it so much.
This demonstrates that it's not easy to do, even when you know how to do it :)
Very nice, really.

Can you post a video showing how to play this step by step? Especially the part starting at 00:43?
