When I come across "grab bags" or "grab boxes", rather (boxes filled with random things inside), I take the entire box, and sort through the box on my own property, rather than standing on the side of the road and fishing through stuff, creating a scene.

yes, we did! i wrote that myspace blog about the teenagers throwing a fire cracker at me and also about the house --and how upset i was at the time. i'm surviving. sharing some of my life here on youtube with my treasure hunting adventures. posting a new vid now. i think i may go out to the old massena landfill in the next few weeks and make a movie from my digging with a shovel. show off all the old bottles and other things that survive in a landfill 50 years later...john
