9/11/2011 Thunderbolt Siren Blast/Moment of Silence

How can I get a Federal Signal Thunderbolt Siren? We have one ontop of my fire department and one ontop of my town hall. None of them are tested anymore.

What did the police/EMS say/do when they came to look at it? I know you said they were OK with it but is that all? Do you sound it whenever you want, or just during severe weather?

but if you really want to alert the area for tornados and attacks, you got to get yourself a chrysler victory siren, aka the big red siren, one of those is 138 decibals, and will reach 25 miles, did I mention they run off a 138 horse hemi engine

I often wonder why they did'nt sound the sirens in NY when 9-11-01 happend... nice soundy thunderbolt! FYI a town near me (Dearborn Michigan) sounded there sirens @ 1pm EST. in honor of those who lost there lives!
