  • hm. A shame.

  • I like the refinished stock better than the dark one and I personally don't give a rats ass about collector fetishes that a gun has to be exactly the same as it was 70 years ago,

  • Even with a refinished stock it's a beautiful weapon.

  • Криворукая обезьяна

  • looks like you have snow trigger card... mines the same

  • now i like bolt actions

  • @ItalianDC that made no sense what i said retyping it ( ok refinishing a a mod.98 aka gewehr 98 is like refinishing a 1945 m44 there not rare what so ever and does not ruin the historical value unless it was used by some war hero i doubt it has loads of historical value it's just stain and varnish yes it's best to keep it in it's condition but most people would want it for the gun like you said people want it for the serial numbers not the varnish go back to playing your games

  • @MrDip02 face it. you have issues, bro.

  • 0:47 ricochet kill lol

  • Please oil and clean it...

  • I say try to restore your rifle. You know, re-finish the stock abit darker and repaint the bolt it looks so bad with a silver one! Just look around on the web and you´ll have a good looking Kar98k again. :)

  • We need to change our fighting mentality, were not fighting first world high tech countries like russia or germany anymore, were hip deep in third world countries fighting terrorist and guerilla factions who use stealth and hit and run tactics. In order to beat our new enemies, we need to think as they do. Make it simple there not using million dollar tech, why should we? No offence to anyone out there, but we need soldiers that think like hunters and snipers, not 8 year olds that play Cod.

  • Don't you think they'd be better soldiers without all that gear to lug around? I mean cmon!!!! Be practical!!! just give them what they need and nothing else!!! I mean if an emp went off while our troops were on the ground all that fancy electronic equipment would be dead weight!!! They'd be deadlier, less tired, more agile, faster and every one of them would be thinking and acting like snipers not just wasting whole clips and mags on possible "targets"...

  • You know wat I really wish? I wish our army would go back to older style weapons. Get rid of all these ffing plastic 9mm assault rifles... Stop giving each of our troops thousands of dollars of equipment and just give them a backpack a semi-auto rifle, like a garand, a pistol and a couple hundred rounds of ammo, then maybe theyd learn how to shoot practically and not just spray and pray... I mean really!!! it only takes one bullet to kill a man not a whole mag!!!

  • @admiralfaffy I'm afraid that you've played too much CoD

  • @admiralfaffy American doctrine leans more towards marksmanship, though not as much as the Swiss. Aperture sights, decent triggers- compare the AR (an intermediate-caliber rifle to allow for select fire when needed) to the AK (a longer-range development of WWII-era submachine gun unit tactics).

How do you feel about the M14, originally with full-auto capability?

  • Sorry but there is just nothing better then cycling a bolt action, especially the mauser actions, pure joy.

  • wow that kids awkward

  • k98 was one of the most accurate rifle in the world fuck ya german engineering

  • lol guy a couple rows over has a Mosin.

  • @TheMotochamp49 7.92x57mm

  • C===3

  • Is that the Spenceville/ Camp Far West range?! I shoot there all the time! Haha

  • Is that a mitchells mauser? Only asking because the stock looks so nice.

  • nice rifle and quick bolt rounding lol i give it a 10 haha

  • I have sportinized mauser made in Erfurt Germany back in 1915 and it still has all completely original parts to it and it shots like no other. My Grandfather brought it back during world war two and it is still in great condition. Plus my father shot a coyote with it and shot in half lol

  • dont reload if you was like angry , destroying your gun ... typical american attitude ?

  • its funny how everyone else has the same k98k

  • woodwork looking good..

  • You loaded the K98k properly by letting the clip "ping" as you slam the bolt forward. Nice job. Makes me want to shoot mine as well.

  • @litoteh doesn't work with all clips though. the ones produced after 1936 can do that, untik then they were to thik and you had to take em out manually. waste of time, + it's way more fun to slam 'em outa there :-D

  • wow thats a nice one man

  • So that's a vet bring-back from your grandpa?

  • @planb1532190 yes it is, it has no post-war markings on it.

  • I prefer the big kar 98 more than the small but i like both

  • you basically ruined your rifle, especially saying that it was already in good condition. your bolt should not be silver and your stock shouldnt be that shade of wood. though you say its not a mitchell's mauser, it looks like one, so if you try and sell it, good luck selling it to a collector that knows what he's buying.

  • @ItalianDC You're absolutely right i did ruin it. in the sense that it doesn't really have any historical value anymore. when i did all that stuff to it i was a teenager and i didn't understand the value of it in its original condition. but we move on and learn from our mistakes... its still a good rifle though.

  • @xdfanatic as long as you learn. :/ sucks, just dont do it again! lol

  • @xdfanatic Gunsmith it turn it into a COOL 30-06.

  • @ItalianDC Just re blue the bolt. Mistake reversed. A lot of collectors including myself are ok with a refurbished rifle, as long as it is done the right way. I don't like collecting guns a I cant shoot personally.

  • @EHSPP16 no that does not reverse the mistake. i mean, technically it does, but not when it comes to retaining the value.

  • @ItalianDC That's fine with me. If he ever wants to sell it for around $300 I'll buy it. I hate paying $600+ for a rifle of which millions were built. Haha

  • @ItalianDC haha someone collecting a kar98k is like collecting a tula hex reciever mosin nagant there quite common and over 10 million of them -_-

  • @ItalianDC the stock has no value at either because you probably can buy them for 30 bucks and he can just replace it the bolt same thing he did not ruin the value in any way because if he or the collector was so worried they can replace it and collectors like amazing condition rifles whether or not it's not the correct stock yes it's still a disappointment but if it's on AMAZING condition there all over it there is no real huge history to it since it was just used by a crack heads -_-

  • @ItalianDC there is really not a huge history to the kar98k if it was from a famouse soldier sniper or anything that's different but these were just held by crack head nazis that probably did not better than any other soldier on the field

  • @MrDip02 MrDip livin' up to his name.

  • @ItalianDC if im a dipshit and you don't know what you'r talking about than that makes you more retarded than a retard

  • @MrDip02 lmao. more retarded than a retard? I hope to god you're not a grown man on the internet. your last, what, 3 posts of WoT's have been full of such bullshit, its amazing. condition and serials mean everything to collectors that know what their purchasing.

you're just that dumb redneck at a gunshow.

  • @ItalianDC they're*

  • @ItalianDC ok like you said they want the serial but how the fuck does the stock have to do with the serial number it has NOTHING to do with it if collectors want it for the rifle they want pristine condition if they want everything they way it was then this is not for them there are more than one type of collectors for example the m39 some people don't like the m39s with post war stocks that have been refurbished but most people do

  • @ItalianDC there are 5 million gewehrs made 5 million wow look how scares these are -_-

  • hit the target much?

  • That's an awesome piece of history, & you handle it well. Cool vids bro. I'm looking for a good deal on one too.

  • the stock is not original

  • @Scorpac it is the original stock i just refinished it so it does not look as dark as it used to.

  • @xdfanatic I like the way you handle the gun. It's a more realistic demeanor imo

  • Is that a Mitchel's Mauser mauser? Very nice, either way!

  • @21stcenturyfilmdocs Thanks! It's not a mitchell's mauser, but i did refinish the stock and polish the bolt. It also was in really good condition to begin with.
