My father (Junior) recorded this for MGM on the flip side of "Cuddle Lovin; Baby." Cuddle Lovin' Baby was a rockabilly hit but I like the flip side better! Great song! (Cuddle Lovin' Baby by Charley and Junior)
The sound is pretty good even though it's mono via the camera microphone. If I knew how to add sound to stills pictures the movie would have been much better.
I'm listening with my Bose headphones. Don and Phil sound like they're right here in my room singing to me. Nice mandolin too and steel guitar. I wonder which Albert Lee is playing. Thanks for posting!
this is albert on the manderlin but albert never played the mandolin at the 83 reunion concerts. this rendition is from the 90's. the reunion rendition is on you tube. somewhere
@megasuggs If you were there then you would had heard Albert do a blues break on his Telecaster , that night.sorry this is not the reunion rendition. to confirm this refer to derek888's upload. this was on bbc tv sat18 feb 89. sorry to take so long to reply I have just com e across it again.
@heezabirddog Yes, you are quite right, 1983 was a long time ago, I've seen them do this song so many times since then and Albert normally does a fantastic break on the mandolin, but you are right, at the reunion concert he used a telecaster, I should have remembered, I have it on video.
Everlyman, thanks for the offer but if you can load the Windows Movie Maker onto your computer, you will be able to make a perfect audio/video for this beautiful song.
an other that I have not heard

I would guess the mandolin. Someone who attended that '83 Concert could tell you for sure. Anyone?

Hi AJ,
I have the pictures in a LQ 4.5MB folder and in a HQ 21.8 MB folder and would send them to you if I knew how to via YouTube.
Perhaps if you let me have your eMail address I can send them as an attachment.
