Just want to say, the geometry is aggressive and not for beginners. I'm glad I had 2 months experience to ride a beater commuting before trying to hop into an R6. But the engine is super slick smooth. It's like the back bones of the engine was based on a Yamaha piano. Best experience on a 600cc :) and very nice review on this amazing beast.
is it just me or does any one else prefer the r6 ergos more than any other supersport? I feel more stretched out on the r6 and my back felt fine after test riding. The cbr600rr didn't feel as stretched and i didn't like the rearsets on the gsxr.
As he said in the video, if it will be your first bike, then definitely not. Like, really, really no. It is an amazing bike but is not made to be learned on, at all. I would recommend for your first bike a Suzuki GSX-R 600, but they can be a bit pricey compared to others. If not a Gixxer, a Kawasaki ZX6.
Nice bike man. I got an 07 R6 Raven color. Theyre fun too ride. I made the mistake of letting my friends ride it.. I had never seen a bike drop so many times...
my r6 looks exactly the same as yours... from the black windscreen, flushmount turn signals, frame sliders, gytr seat cowl, and eliminator kit. except i think u have a gytr carbon fiber slip on and i have a two brothers carbon fiber.
@arnold4life476 depends on what you're looking for. If you just want to go on short cruises and have fun, go with this one. a ducati monster will be a little more comfortable. They are more expensive to fix and maintain though because they are considered the ferrari of streetbikes. Both cool bikes
@arnold4life476 my opinion though, go with an 08-09 gsxr for a starter bike if you want to start on a 600. One of the most comfortable and easiest to ride.
@arnold4life476 yeah im 6' and about 160. You will be fine on these kind of bikes. just take it slow if youve never rode one because theyre VERY expensive to fix if you crash. let me know how it goes

Would this be a good fourth bike? I have a ninja 250 for my third bike and was wondering if this would be a good next bike.

That red is absolutely gorgeous!
I wanted a CBR but am very, very much leaning towards the R6. Thanks for the quality review!

@JeromyMontoya is the r6 an okay commuter to get to work 45 min away?
