That, and to my memory at least, he never had a Ninetales in his party in the games.

According to the Rumor, Red was sitting on that cliff in HG/SS because he finally realized what he did. Blue still moved on...

When Pokemon R/B came out, they released Yellow soon afterward. When G/S came out, they released Crystal version. D/P brought about the release of Platinum. And R/S came with Emerald.
