@timathieus: Actually, whatever it is, does have water in it. I've seen many spiders, centipedes, etc. in my bathtub and they've had no problem. It might not move fast, but it wouldn't go backwards... A lot of the time, it's back legs aren't even touching the bottom, but moving in midair (midwater, actually.) If it's trying to move, it's legs aren't gonna be in midair. And, all of this is pointless, because scorpions are immune to their own venom, like some snakes... It drowned...

Where did you find this? Its simply just not true at all. Scorpions ARE immune not just to their own venom, but to the others venom, from the same species. Try putting alcohol on any type of insect, predictably it will die soon. Want to know why? Because alcohol consumes water, their body will dry out. No water-no life, you know the drill. I have one birdspiders at home, and one of them got wounded under the last moult, it was 3months ago, it drinks many, and still looses some kind of liquid from the wound. So the conclusion is, that they can kill each other, but the death isn't caused by venom, its caused by the exoskeleton penetration, or vital organ injury.

What I'm trying to say, is that Scorpions can kill other scorpions with their sting, however, they seem to be immune to their own sting. It is understandable as many animals can sting or bite and control the flow of venom, it would be simple for a scorpion to sting itself without releasing venom.
