  • how much pubic hair is in that dust?

  • MSA was not a bad venue for basketball and concerts. Much better than that oversized Taco Bell bathroom that replaced it.

  • skip to 0:00 to see it

  • dirty bit

  • anyone notice the radiation symbol on the roof?

  • @isitin whoooops nvm... Haha ma mistake i thought it was mellon arena hahaha

  • @isitin WTF r u a retard... Dude it was closed last year after pens lost game 7 against habs (go habs!) your a retard... Learn ur facts

  • Why?

  • Somewhere, Reggie Miller was crying.

  • Immm--- ploooo--- deddd!!!

  • thats kinda good

  • 10 people were inside when they destroyed it.

  • LOLZ, THAT'S VIOLENT..

  • That's another demonstration on how the towers and wt7 came down

  • For a second I thought it said "Madison Square Garden demolition".

  • who played here?

  • Good riddance to that dump

  • fuck that nigger town food stamps crack

  • I was right across the street when they took this down. It shook the Days Inn so hard and was very loud. Who knew 9/11 would happen a few months later 'o(. 2001 I'll never forget that year. I lost my father, Aaliyah died next, MSA was blown up to make a parking lot, and 9/11 WOW......

  • I remember watching this on tv and someone on the air within the last few secons said...."Elvis has left the building"

  • total waste !

  • if i had a land, cartoons that are as high as a skycraper can destroy one.

  • Well, that sucks!

I worked at MSA back in the late 1980's for Ogden Foods.

Also worked at the City Market across the street from MSA, in Indy, lots of fun :)

  • elvis last concert come on they could of saved it

  • what a miserable structure, material and architecture.shopping is the golden rule and build, sell things only, under the law of obsolent.world these days.

  • Opened September 15, 1974

    Closed October 24, 1999

    Demolished July 8, 2001

    =25 years, what a waste.

  • @isitin Almost as big as of a waste as imploding the RCA Dome

  • Lucas Oil was built so Indianapolis could get a superbowl and become more of a site-seeing city.

  • @isitin Seriously only 25 years? Most of these buildings are designed for about a 50 year life span. Why demo this so soon? i wonder what type of politics were behind this move.

  • @4JayeP the same as the ones that took down the world trade centers ..its called greed and power

  • @isitin Do you post that comment on every stadium demolition?

  • @isitin ya but conseco is way better

  • @isitin wow in winnipeg our old arena stood for for 50 years, and our football stadium is 60 years and counting

  • they tore down reggies house. sad day

  • National Geographic?

  • I saw my very first concert here.... but it wasn't Elvis ... it was Ronnie James Dio... in fact i saw all my concerts here(MSA).... except Ozzfest "99"...it was at Deer Creek ...sad to see it go !!!!!!!

  • Is Conseco fieldhouse named after JOSE Canseco ????

  • Are you being serious?

  • Elvis Presley was the greatest thing ever to happen to the Market Square Arena.

  • @Bolgi Reggie Miller >>> Elvis Presley!

  • @Bolgi

I agree. He played his last concert there.

  • PACERS VS MAGIC 95

  • who played their

  • pacers

  • Speaking of Elvis, isnt't it Ironice that the "King" died on his "throne?" Bwahahahahahaha....

  • Is that the arena where the Indianapolis racers hockey team used to play?

  • The Racers would play there on occassion but mostly at the coliseum at the state fairgrounds.

  • Incorrect. Racers always played MSA. It was the minor league teams that came and went that would use the fairgrounds arena. I think the teams found better dates and lower rent at the fairgrounds when compared to MSA.

  • I tend to disagree with you. I saw the racers at fairgrounds. Please don't make me have to dig thru my ticket stubs. As we both can probably agree on is we both miss those days....

  • @iammetfan Racers in the 70's played games at MSA. It was part of the reason MSA was built, mainly for the Pacers but the upstart Racers filled dates for the "new" arena. The Checkers (80s) played mostly at Fairgrounds Coliseum and later on MSA when attendance spiked. I miss MSA but happy we still have the Coliseum.

  • WHY!!!!!

  • I liked MSA too, but I remembered those nosebleed seats on the sides.....they went up up up up up. Horrible. And for a concert those seats were worthless, except for a second-hand dope high. No one needs to see Foghat that badly!

  • No one needs to see Foghat at all. They tend to suck.

  • Saw Van Halen there in 1980 on the Women & Children First tour ... back when VH kicked ass, and weed was cheap and plentiful.

  • wrong- the last concert at MSA was the ZZ TOP/LYNYRD SKYNYRD show,I WAS THERE!!!!!!!!

  • dude, read what the guy wrote.

he said THE LAST PLACE ELVIS PERFORMED, not THE LAST PERFORMANCE WAS ELVIS.

  • THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES

  • they were gonna have someone press the button in st louis but they didnt

  • It looked like one of my moms Souffles calapsing in the oven.

  • Ive noticed on every single demonlition vid ive seen, someone yells kaboom. every single one.

  • because it is fun when you say "KABOOM" and something big goes down. it almost feels as if it was you who pressed the button :D

  • Stupidest thing they ever did. Conseco fieldhouse sucks.

  • Yes I agree and the new lucas oil stadium downtown wasnt the brightest idea either. They will play for a couple years in the new stadium and then want another one.

  • Damn, I saw Wreslemania 8 there.

    I miss it.

    : /

  • wrestlemania 8 was at the hoosier dome

  • Sad watching ... the Place where Elvis Presley gave his last Concert ... on June 26, 1977. By the Way: Thanks for posting :-)

  • I miss you MSA. The "Madhouse on Market Street" is where I saw my first NBA game.

  • Saw some great concerts there, too.

  • The last place Elvis ever performed in concert.

  • How did I not know that?

The last concert I went to at MSA was Korn I think for the Family Values Tour and I think it was the last concert at MSA.

I meant to go to the demo but it was too early on a Saturday so I had to weigh sleep vs. a major demolition of one of my favorite places to see a concert.

  • nice blast, very different to what you normally see.

  • Kaboom! :D
