  • hi. how would you compare your lovebird to your parrotlet? thanks

  • @rainypassion101 It wouldn't be a fair comparison. The lovebird was handfed, but not socialized to be with people. The parrotlet was handraised and socialized to be with people. He is very tame and seeks people to be with. The lovebird doesn't like to be touched, but I can get him to step up on my hand and I can sort of hold him. My budgie was 100% parent raised and is tamer. He just seems uncomfortable with people, and he's very cage aggressive. I've heard of lovebirds being sweet.

  • I have never seen the color before, so beautiful....i have latino peachface and australian cinnamon peachface plus heaps of fischers.. the peachface to me is a more gently bird...

  • @jasonbonnici05 I can't remember the color mutation of my lovebird. It's a pied mutation, but there is a name for the color like pied blue, pied seagreen or something like that. He's very likely a boy because he's finally started to mate with toys in his cage.

  • I love the coloring of Aurora!! And do you have any other birds besides your Green cheek, and these too?

  • @MsHorselover8 Thank you. My daughter hoped he would have been a whiter color, but sometimes dilute-blues come out a tiny bit more sky blue than white. My son has a Lineolated Parakeet, and we have two budgerigars. One budgie that we have has the largest vocabulary. He is the best mimic for a bird we never thought would talk. They're all tame except for one budgie that's only slightly tame.

  • @happyinlove97 Wow! Awesome! I would love to see a video of your budgie sometime. :D

  • @MsHorselover8 I'll try my best to get Hedwig to talk on camera. Just a warning, that guy is full of himself and he's a big flirt. Nobody is as cute as he is according to him. All of our birds become mutes when the camera is on. Well, Aurora is pretty good about not becoming mute, but he doesn't have a large vocabularly yet so he's not so impressive.

  • @happyinlove97 Alright thanks :D
