No one said that he sings in falsetto. No men do. However, the falsetto must be developed in a man's voice because the muscles must be strong and active even when singing in chest voice. Chest and falsetto correspond to the only two muscle groups in the larynx responsible for making sound. So they must be strong and balanced even if you don't sing on the stage in falsetto. And that IS the Italian way. Read Tosi, Mancini, Caccini etc. They developed the registers and coordinated them.
Galeffi's voice has a rich, gorgeous
texture and timber! I particularly
enjoy his probing, sensitive and
utterly human characterizations,
honest acting and impassioned
communication. A definitive per-
formance of "Eri Tu" if ever there
was one! Thank you, Mr. C!!

Bravissima ! There is no falsetto in this "brano", Dieu merci !!!
Chest and falsetto voice are the french and stupid way of singing. It is the italian technic we can hear here, the only one worthwhile !
Thank you very much.

The position of what? Falsetto absolutely gives more scuro to the sound as it give more lengthening to the vocal folds.
