the isaiah passage he references in this interview was fulfilled by Jesus when he was on earth. a classic example of how ignorance breeds more ignorance.
"Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters." Revelation 14:7
Rick, love you bro. I knew rick when he was a snot nosed punk! I know his two brothers and his mom and dad who now live back in NM. I miss this God fearing family! Rick follows Christ and has a heart for the lost and down trodden. Can Jesus say that about you? Or, are you just a critic? I've seen God work in this family to bring others to Christ. Bless you Rick!
I know Rick personally and he is a man of God don't know what you guy's r talking about. He may have gotten off a little. But give the man a break. We are the church and we are suppossed to forgive, just as much as the world. I love Rick's ministry, he is a very good person with a very good heart. We went to CFNI together and he sacrifced a lot to be able to be on those recordings I'm sure. And he still does make sacrifices for the things he does. So please give him a break. Thanks.
Seeing many of the responses on here by "Christians", it's no wonder we can't win the World to Christ. GROW UP believers! The Word of God says YOU WHO ARE SPIRITUAL RESTORE SUCH A ONE. If you are tearing down, not only are you NOT Spiritual, you're immature. Let's grow up!!!!!!!!
I know I'm telling the truth . Break away from your religious ways before it's too late plz . God is not a religious God . It's we who have made him a religion he never was a never will be a religious God . God loves Praise & Worship doesn't matter what it is , he just loves it . God Bless
Tell me why he got kicked out . I can tell you why . I think it's because your church is a very very very very very very religious church for no reason . And you people that are putting bad comments on plz don't because your insulting a worship leader a very anointed one . So plz If you guy want to be blessed plz stop . And you guys God does'nt care about the songs he just looks at the heart of worship . God Bless
well that sure is a well-thought out conclusion, based on literally no evidence. i don't disagree with you about unnecessary religion or anything, but that's just a very short-sighted thing to say.
And by the way... I dont think he bears any resemblance to Jack Black at all. This video must be old because he really doesn't look like this anymore. I dont know who he reminds me of, but talking to him he is nothing like Jack Black at all. Nor is it like him performing.
I think Rick is such a talented and kind person. I had the privilege to chat with him briefly Saturday night at my church. He was very happy to meet the members and gracious to be leading worship for the week. I believe he is a vessel for the musical outpouring of our Lord's love and look forward to more of his gifting being poured out.
gideonsword98, i totally agree with you about some people being "spiritual" and not being enough like Christ. if you think about it Jesus was the most spiritual man to ever walk the earth, he knew scripture like nobodys business. so in being more christ-like you should become more spiritual.
If people would stop trying to be so spiritual and just be like Jesus, the world would be a fantastic place. so he may not quote the bible from you version, so what. i seen this guy tonight and it was a wonderful service. People look at me a 53 year old lady who has tattoos and think i am not "spiritual". whatever. I just love Jesus and He love me. i cannot quote scripture like i used to, but i can love people.
religion and relationship is totally different! please remember that all u modern day pharacies.... that really "know" the bible. they knew the law but still got rebuked. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .agape
Hi, Thanks for sending this. These people know about as much about the Bible as Mohammed. "Lifted Up" was a specific allusion to being "Crucifed." If I be Lifted Up I will draw all men to Me....John 12:32-33
And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
33 This he said, signifying what death he should die.
Thats not what he was talking about, he was talking about the part where it says make the way straight and prepare the way for God, He didnt make any mistake, and who are you to tear a brother in Christ down? a kingdom cannont stand divided against it's self
Uhhhh.. Keep reading, it says exactly what he talked about
3 A voice of one calling: "In the desert prepare the way for the LORD; make straight in the wilderness a highway for our God 4 Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain. 5 And the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all mankind together will see it. For the mouth of the LORD has spoken
"...this generation...." I'm so tired of this talk... it's been happening for "generations" and it's just hype, just banter... way to rip verses out of context... unbelievable... of course the whole emotional charismatic thing has never really been known as people who really understand the Bible so I guess I shouldn't expect much.
careful. I can go to your church and find a couple people, study wi/ them & confuse them by the end of the meeting & make them quesion the doctrine your leaders feed them. if the charasmatic didnt know the word they would all be on stage but there is seperation. His goes to a school where they teach all bible. By them praising with instruments and emotions isnt that excersising the word of God. Try telling king david not to be emotional. David's emtion and praise certainly made him stick out!

Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, like men sent from God.

Isaiah 40 :3 is NOT about making the high places low
Hint* : If he went to Bible school and makes a mistake this bad.... not a good sign. But it should make you wonder.
