hey, mate! when does your HRD starts to break up on clean? mine goes around 3-4

now with strings and pickups height lowered and guitars output lowered overall, cause before went mad on 3 with my 2 & 3 burstbuckers...

Nice concerts on your channel! I use the Jim Wagner fillmore west pickups. I always have the Vol of the Guitar on max. I regulate the volume through my Vox Dual Overdrive: clean, OD1, OD2, which gives me three channels with three different volumes

the big advantage of this guitar is that the upper frets can easily be accessed, the other advantage is the reduced weight vs. a Les Paul while playing stand-up in a band for hours

@Appalam221 Depends on how you hold it. If you stick the crotch of the v on your right leg its no problem. If you stick the pointed edge on your right leg in regular fashion even with the rubber pad it wants to slide off. They're great guitars though, super light if you gig with them, can play them all night without them getting heavy.

Hey, greetings to Canada! Nice country, nice people! Jimi Hendrix and Albert King played on Flying V's too (Gibson issued signature models of these)

Agreed; I'm very proud of being Canadian, and thanks for recognizing. Albert King was who I had in mind, and the Hendrix V has a great paint job. Those pickups has a wonderful sound, and really the V is an underrated guitar player. It's a shame people outside of the metal community seldom use it.
