i remember writing a letter to this show asking when they'd be showing Hogan's Heroes again and they answered this detail answer of which station owne Hogan's at the time and when it was last aired in the area and why they make the descision to show something for a while at a certain timeslot etc. it was great.
This show was *essential* to some degree before the Internet came to be. I think EVERY station should have been *made* to air a local one. I bet Meg's a crazy old cat lady.
I never watched this show all of the time because I wasn't born until 1989, but I remember it would come on before The Three Stooges on Saturday mornings. This really was a neat show though.
Meg became my boss when Paramount Stations Group purchased WGNT-TV UPN27 in Portsmouth, VA in the late 1990's. She is now at the CW affiliate in Atlanta.
Wow--they read one of my letters back in summer 1990 or so. I wish I had a tape of it. I got a mug for my letter. And they kept goofing on my letter for the entire show! I did tape it, but only the video came out--no sound. But I can't even find that tape.
I remember not liking this lady as much when she replaced that other guy.

It's so sad that Cliff Allen passed away so young!

Note that Meg LaVigne uses the proper and traditional pronunciation of her last name (la-veen-ya), unlike Avril Lavigne.

I had some letters read on this show back in 1995, when Stu Tauber and Meg LaVigne were the hosts.

I remember this version but wasn't there an ask the Manager on 38 that involved Dana Hersey and the bald guy?

I used to love Ask The Manager. Wish they still did it. Check out my videos for more WSBK TV38 promos and ID's.

W/the recent demise of UPN and TV38's return to independent status, one wonders if they'd consider bringing the show back...
