  • Champ cars are a lot harder to control than "regular cars". If u knew how hard it was to drive these cars, you would have a different attitude towards champ car.

  • Nigel Mansell, Mario Andretti, Jaques Villeneuve, Alex Zanardi, Juan Pablo Montoya, all raced in ChampCar/CART. The Indy Racing League didn't even exist until 1996.

  • CART changed from IndyCar World Series to Champ Car World Series so that spoiled rich kid Tony George could have his "Indy" name back for his new league. The IRL IndyCar series has nothing to do with the series that those great racers were in. You're stuck with "greats" like Buddy Lazier and Donnie Beechler.

  • If you think going in circles in the ugliest racecars on the planet with your rigth foot stuck on the throttle 100 percent of the time is good racing, yes, you should watch the IRL.

  • This is stupid, its not only: "Push throthle on 100% and drive". Drivers must drafting behind other cars, choose best fuel strategy... etc. Try to watch some exciting races before you sad this!

  • IndyCar and ChampCar should join in one series. It would be the best decision for openwheel racing in USA.

  • yep, but they ChampCar have nothing to bring to the table. I think if they had to join IRL 5 years ago.

  • LOl...real racing in F!/ Yesah, between about 3 people...and no overtaling.

Champ Car is, IMHO, the most exciting racing series in the world. It's not as big as it used to be. But comparing it to those crapwagons in the IRL...puuurrrleeze! If the IRL didn't have the Indy 500, it would be less relevant than Formula Ford.
