I don't like ChampCar races either. They think that running all time under yellow is real racing. No passing there either. Very boring. It's surely for dumb people.
Champ cars are a lot harder to control than "regular cars". If u knew how hard it was to drive these cars, you would have a different attitude towards champ car.
Nigel Mansell, Mario Andretti, Jaques Villeneuve, Alex Zanardi, Juan Pablo Montoya, all raced in ChampCar/CART. The Indy Racing League didn't even exist until 1996.
CART changed from IndyCar World Series to Champ Car World Series so that spoiled rich kid Tony George could have his "Indy" name back for his new league. The IRL IndyCar series has nothing to do with the series that those great racers were in. You're stuck with "greats" like Buddy Lazier and Donnie Beechler.

No CART changed in IRL. Thats were are top OW people are now. Rick Mears, Al Unser Sr, Bobby Unser, Johnny Rutherford, Mario Andretti, AJ Foyt, Michael Andretti, Al Unser Jr, Roger Penske, Buddy Lazier, Chip Ganassi, Bobby Rahal, Eddie Cheever..... these people created CART, now they all are in IRL, because IRL is now what was CART then. Indy, ovals and some RC. I see you are gay, that you like so much CCWS?

ChampCar is IndyCar wannabe. IndyCar has the all backround with Indy 500. Nigel Mansell, Nelson Piquet, Mario Andretti, Jaques Villeneuve, Alex Zanardi - all raced in IndyCars.
All serious teams and drivers are in IRL. ChampCar is for very rich people who don't have talent and couldn't compete in F1,NASCAR or IRL. ChampCar is much slower and more amatuerish - ideal playground for rich guys. ChampCar is less known in the world and attracts very little interest and sponsorship.
If you think going in circles in the ugliest racecars on the planet with your rigth foot stuck on the throttle 100 percent of the time is good racing, yes, you should watch the IRL.
This is stupid, its not only: "Push throthle on 100% and drive". Drivers must drafting behind other cars, choose best fuel strategy... etc. Try to watch some exciting races before you sad this!

If you want to watch real racing you watch F1, NASCAR or Indycar. If you want crashing - this is for you! Enjoy the last ever ChampCar seoson as it is going to fold at the end of the year. Good luck for everybody!
LOl...real racing in F!/ Yesah, between about 3 people...and no overtaling.
Champ Car is, IMHO, the most exciting racing series in the world. It's not as big as it used to be. But comparing it to those crapwagons in the IRL...puuurrrleeze! If the IRL didn't have the Indy 500, it would be less relevant than Formula Ford.

No, idiot! Nigel raced in IndyCars. PPG IndyCar World Series at the time. Not ChampCar. Then it was CART now it is IRL. Nobody cares of CCWS.

IndyCar and ChampCar should join in one series. It would be the best decision for openwheel racing in USA.

yep, but they ChampCar have nothing to bring to the table. I think if they had to join IRL 5 years ago.
