  • @DavidJF123 Yes it is.

  • Yeah baby! Sex Music....

  • this is how to get high with a psych jazzy touch

  • great laid back groove but i don't like the sound of the cow bell or clave

  • I can understand you not liking the "sound" of a particular cowbell but I have no idea what you mean about the clave? Please explain. btw I know what clave is so no need to explain. I just dont get what you dont like about it?

  • @goatsonacid420 you guys are both confused. "claves" or "clave" are two sticks of wood struck; but more important the CLAVE is a rhythmic pattern as well. In either 3/2 or 2/3 (Rhumba or Son) that is the heartbeat of all Afro Cuban music and in this instance Stantons groove as well. The clave can be played on anything ie a cowbell, cross stick snare, cymbal. hi hat bass drum ect. Dont confuse the instrument (a pair of claves) with the pattern.

  • @TheBigRoll Not to hate or anything, but I'm a bit confused. I don't think there's a such thing as 1/3 notes, so how could 2/3 be a time signature?

  • @hollayyy no problem...sometimes writing gets confusing. 2/3 is not a time signature. It is an afro cuban pattern played in 2/4 or 6/8. I would highly suggest that you get Heratio " ElNegro " Hernadez book "Conversations in Clave' that will explain it all...as will listening to all the great music of Cuba and Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic et al. Good luck.

  • @Bosphorus92 this is a dumbass thing to say, i'm sorry but from any perspective - musician's/recording engineer's its just why even type it. cats is hot, shit its ok to put down your pride.

  • Great stuff

  • yeaah great funky feel!

  • I just bought this album today before sampling a single song, which is rare for me but I have complete confidence in all of these guys. I'm glad to say, they didn't let me down. I absolutely love the song titled Hard Headed Rio Aka Cuca Dura. You can deffinately tell its Stanton Moore playing the drums on this album. No mistaking his sound.

  • what you don't understand??
