Hobo should appear in an anti-smoking advertisement, showing the risks of cancer (and brain damage). By the way, i really feel "enlightened" by Hobo's wisdom and wit in this interview. He's so witty and funny that i'm still laughing.
This is interesting because it contains bits which are often left out of edited versions of this - ahem! - seminal conference.
Bob Dylan really is trying to answer questions seriously, but the questions are so naff that he ends up taking the piss. In doing so, he (unconsciously) undermines the whole scenario of this (and other) forum.
@thomashjorthaab "Freeze Out" was released under the name "Visions of Johanna" (most likely taken from Kerouac) on his "Blonde on Blonde" album. There's a heavily bootlegged early recording of it titled "(Seems Like a) Freeze Out".
@thomashjorthaab It has only appeared on either 'Blonde on Blonde sessions' or 'The Genuine Bootleg Series' neither of which have been released. I actually had it , but lost it. :/ Hope it will officially see the light of day soon.
the Genius is in his face, his eyes, never mind what he say, everybody feels it, that´s why he´s a litle bit nervous (and everyone): he´s still not ready for this, but he enjoys it of course. maybe i´m absolutly wrong
When he talks about symphonies, I think he achieved it with Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlands. That song does the same kind of think as Beethoven or Wagner. When it goes 'my warehouse eyes my arabian drum", there is a sound directly after that makes you fell weightless, and then he swoops in with "should I leave them by your gate, or sad eyed lady should I wait."
Anyone notice Billy Graham?? He asked what bands who cover your songs do them the most justice?

Lol, "a constitutional replay of mass production"... i think he went for the most absurd definition he could find.

@synysterjazmyngates Amphetamine addicts always lick their lips. It's a common habit and he was pretty wired in this period.
