It really doesn't take too long. Only time consuming part is cutting the stencils. First you come up with an idea. Photoshop the image you created in your head, print it, cut it, paint it. Don't get me wrong though, it's hard to come up with shit like Banksy. You've got to be a genius to think to make things like that

fyi, Banksy's first solo show in LA was in July 2002 called Existencilism @ 33 1/3 Gallery :)
