  • as a kid always looked forward to 'Animals, Animals, Animals" because of Lynn Kellogg. I need someone's help - did Lynn Kellogg also sing the jingle for "Starburst" fruit chews from the mid 70s to the mid 80s?

  • Charger's account closed down, how bad, wanted to express my feelings to him

  • Thanks for the uploading. I was trying to find a Lynn's song for quite some time, and EUREKA finally. Best memories from childhood. Thanks again.

  • EUREKA!!!! I have been trying to find Lynn singing, and today as an act of magic this happened. Thanks for having uploaded a song. I'm so happy. Best show when I was a kid.

  • ADORABLEEEEEEE!

  • Another one of my favorite kid shows my whole family use to watch this together!

    I love Lynn Kellogg.

  • Can you upload more Animals Animals Animals episodes?

I'd love to see more. I remember they had excellent stories with great cartoons. It's a shame the don't have re-runs now. Some things never get old, and this is one of them.

  • This is ABC TV's last sunday morning educational kids tv show.

  • I LOVE THIS!!! I LOVE IT!

  • I loved this show when I was a kid, not least for Lynn's wonderful songs. Why not a DVD release?

  • @glennorange Lynn Kellogg never appeared nude in Hair as she had principles, She left Hair and was introduced in the Elvis movie Charro, She now sings Christian music and lives south of Branson, Missouri in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas. How do I know this? She is my wife and I am a Blessed man!

    Chers from Chile!

  • @charger41967 I know Lynn because she was my babysitter about 55 yrs ago in Appleton Wisc. I am the oldest, Carol, of the Lindsey family. I am 60 yrs old now and living in Green Bay. My email address is: carolsemailbox@yahoo.com. She is a wonderful singer and I would like to hear some of her Christian music. Hope to hear back from your. God Bless

  • @Mskatzgo This goes off topic, but I hope you will tolerate my curiosity. Is there an Eric Weiss museum in Appleton?

I wish the late great Mr. Weiss was here today to expose the strange telemarketers who do keep calling me despite the fact that my telephone number is unlisted. Mr. Weiss exposed many charlatans in his time.

  • Nice glimpse at Hal Lindsey--was this before or after (or during) his "Barney Miller" years?

  • During.

  • @pbanta62 This was during the days when he was on Barney Miller. He was most recently on an episode of TV Land's Hot In Cleveland.

  • Is she the singer from the original Broadway version of Hair (1967)? Lynn Kellog was the one that sang "Good Morning Starshine" in that broadway musical before it was turned into a movie in 1970 and before Oliver sang it in 1969.

  • @VeryHonestGuy

Yes, that's the same Lynn Kellogg. Her voice was unforgettable in Hair, Good Morning Starshine and those gorgeous moments in Walking in Space.

  • Did she do any SCHOOL HOUSE ROCK?

  • She forgot the bald Sphinx cat!

  • IS there where the producers got the idea of Phoebe's "Smelly Cat" song?

  • Now that's a wide grin!

  • Youtube is great therapy!!! here I am feeling depressed about my miserable life. when i watch vintage stuff from my childhood like this i remember that at one time i was actually happy and stress free... no more zoloft. from now on it's youtube all the way for me.lol!!!

  • From the days when beautiful, blond women were allowed to show that they had BRAINS and TALENT. Now, they are just called Paris Hilton.

What sad times we live in.

Thanks for posting this! I was a huge fan of the show!

  • @tommyrock69 You're right, just look at the way she fiddles with those chords! piece a cake! So freely singing, memorising a new song every week, looking equally beautiful in every performance, really miss her songs, she was really beautiful, such a lovely smile, lovely voice, I haven't seen any more of her songs on YT except this one, she was such an adorable and talented singer. There were some more of her very good songs.

  • @tommyrock69 amen to that. Lynn Kelogg was one of my first childhood loves! So pretty and talented.

  • Lynn Kellogg's wonderful - what's she doing today?

  • Lynn Kellogg is living just south of Branson, Missouri in a large house on the side of an Ozark mountain with a magnificient view. She is writing a book, a telivision show and still sings beautifully. Her husband John

  • Thank you for posting this! I've looked in vain for an album she supposedly released (Balm in Gilead?). Her singing on the Hair soundtrack has such power and beauty.

  • "Abyssinian...beginnin' 'em"? Give me a break!

    :-O

  • That kitten at the beginning is really annoying,

until the moment its ears pop up!

  • Hahaha! That's my (husband's) nephew's great aunt. I had no idea!

  • Thats one hippie chick I would bang. She looks like she bathes.

  • she can make a pussy purr with the stroke of her hand. No .. wait, that was Nugent. Hey, she's going to get deer ticks!

  • Lynn Kellogg did the School House Rock series in the 70s! Loved those songs!

  • That wasn't her. That was Lynn Ahrens.

  • Lynn Kellogg indeed sang the song "Easy to Be Hard" from the musical Hair. She was the first leading lady on Broadway. I first heard that song when I was an Army helicopter pilot a long time ago.

  • Read the comments next time. I was replying to a comment that Lynn Kellogg did Schoolhouse Rock. She did not. Lynn Ahrens did, although they sound similar. And who mentioned this song you're bringing up? It's completely irrelevant.

  • You didn't note what you were refering to with your comment. I know a little more about Lynn Kellogg than you do. We are married!

  • Hi Please send regards to Lynn, we spent time together many years ago, she was friends with my dad Frank Mell who was a record producer, I beleive they met at hair, we rowed and drove in a convetible from and back to Manhattan, my dad had MAP City records, sweet magnolia music, and was associated with Kama Sutra, Budda and Delite Labels, I am tring to find people in my dads life as I am writting a book, would love to hear from anyone who had known him, 619-708-1134, Joseph

  • please respond charger41967, I would love to hear from her

  • Whoa!!! Please say "Hi" to Lynn, one of the most beautiful girls I'd ever known, for me....I knew her at the Univ. of Wisc. in 1961/62.

  • hello to lynn's husband. I am a friend of Lynn's sister Edi. I wrote a song about Amber when she was born about 35 years ago. Any chance I can get in touch with Edi through Lynn? I met Lynn several times at the old red farm house on Madonna Rd SLO. Hope to hear from you. Thanks.

  • I used to look forward to this part of the show. Hal Linden always found something sweet to say about Lynn Kellogg - and no wonder!

  • I think she was Jeannie in the original cast of of "Hair" -- gimme a cat with hair!

  • I loved this show when I was a little kid! It does rule!!! Even Lynn Kellog's hippie/folk 70s songs were the best!!

  • This RULES! I loved the 70s...

  • my god, really cool!!!!!! XD

  • Bravo! Love Lynn Kellogg's performances!

  • "Manx, you're welcome!"

  • Lynn Kellogg sure can sing about cats!

Does Lynn Kellogg have her own web site and/or myspace site and/or livejournal site?

  • Wow! how high was she? hehe...Move over Phoebe! I'll be singing,"Manx! You're Welcome!"...forever now!
