They have never re-aired this story again (I heard this story caused lots of angry and jealous letters to 60 minutes) but re-air other stories. @cruiscinlan They do have students from all over the world but for lot of foreign students, the indian lifestyle and cultural difference is way to big to over come therefore they decide to stay in their native country. Lot of foreigners don't even know about IIT. An Australian or German or South African would know about Harvard and MIT but they wouldnt know anything about IIT. Also lots of good foreign students don't even qualify for that school (no offense).

But unfortunately experimental facilities (functional) available even in IIT is not as good as a third class research university in US. so comparing the level of research and the money spent on that research, India is much ahead.
