Activision is terrible, they release a new patch under the guise of a new game every year or so. This makes developing quality games impossible; but does maximize profit for the short-term.

Consider this; the original starcraft went almost 10 years without a sequel, but already activision has planned 2 sequels to SC2. The original WoW went 2-3 years FINE until it's first expansion... Burning crusade... Then acitvision showed up and we have WoTLK and Cata almost 1 year apart.

I don't like the smoking, it implies the slave has the liberty to enjoy small pleasures of his choice. In the future, more advanced drugs are available, and the marine will not even be aware he is on them. He will just feel severe withdrawal symptoms if he doesn't kill something for more than 24 hrs.

I don't like the shackles - it is a primitive and too obvious signature of slavery. In the future slaves will have no idea they are slaves. And will happily do what they are supposed to do.

@tuzmor A Marine in Starcraft isn't a slave... they're convicts who were given a choice to serve as a Marine or rot in prison and possibly face the death penalty.

The reason convicts choose to be a Marine is because if they survive through their agreed time of service. punctuation on the "IF". Then they will be cleared of all charges and released back into society. Most Marines never survive.

@trumbo71 the armor is actually recycles everything inside of it from air to liquid and Human waste. according to the novels ( Broodwar) the Armor is used not to only protect the host but also help to survive mutilation and lacerations . it says that the armor inject drugs and hormones .

I do feel sorry for blizzard there window of opportunity is quickly closing, star craft II already got a vaporware award in 2009 and Diablo III is sure to get it in 2010 unless blizzard releases it. Frankly its their fault for announcing a game 2-4 years before its ready for release. Diablo III has been in Development sense 2005 we are on the 5th year of development a developer the size of blizzard with its recourses and money can develop a quality product in 3 years if it wanted to,
