  • I just can't remember this show and I just went to a friends house to get it from him on DVD going to watch it in a few .... I'm a gay man I sud no this show lol

  • Thank you for posting this. I used to watch this & Shazam! on Saturday Mornings.

  • The woman that played Isis, was out of this world fine.

  • Where are all the good shows like this, they should bring it back and make it for 2011...Bring Isis back!!!!!

  • Oh man.....

    Another "forgotten" memory returned.

  • Shazam & Isis!! Best part of being a kid in the '70s!!

  • I loved Shazam! and Isis! I'm pretty sure I had a crush on her--and her cute friend!

  • What year was this?

I rememeber this as a child and looking at it now I see a big resemblence to Linda Carter's Wonder Woman / Diana Prince!

  • 1976

  • @Altro777 1975

  • Oh Mighty Isis....................the source of countless preteen boners(she looks a lot like Kristen Kreuk doesn't she?)

  • @jshalom65 no, Kristen looks like her. she=older

  • who did the narration for this ? This same voice sounds like he was on shazam but not sure

  • As Clinton would say "What IS IS?"

  • i had a gf who used to make me say, 'oh mighty isis'

  • This is a show that should have been and DESERVED to be better. The producers had it half right with a good Isis costume (although white shorts would've been better than that skirt) looking much cooler than that completely lame Shazam/Captain Marvel outfit. More importantly, each episode tried to get across an important message to young kids on how to live their lives. But it was doomed by the low production values. I blame the producers for not being willing to make a more serious show for kids

  • I once said that Lynda carter was the only one who look best in the Wonder Woman costume. Same is true about Joanna Cameron in the Isis costume.

  • Joanna Cameron was a godess on this show and off.

  • Programming @ an early age>>>>The Power of TV

  • I never missed one show of ISIS when I was growing up Ive even now got her 1 season only DVD set Id like to see a 2012 remake of the show.

  • @megaspartacus1963

NEVER! some things need to be left alone, shazam and isis are two of them

  • truly incredible. that's real power!

  • 22 people didn't realize the power of Isis.

  • Is it me..or is Isis kinda hot???? ;-P

  • I am so glad I bought the DVD set. Now if they would come out with the entire Shazam series. I can't wait to get the second season of Bionic Woman. I sound like I work for them don't I? LOL I wish! I could probably get all 3 seasons for free. I would actually take one season of either (1960's) Batman, Shazam, Six Million Dollar Man or Bionic Woman in leiu of a paycheck at least once a month. I know, dream on. LOL

  • My dad used to sit and watch this with me. I used to think it was to spend time with me. Now that I am an adult male, I see the real reason.

  • @darkwhitedirewolf

    ROFL!!!!

  • the special effects were bad but the effort was there to entertain children back in the days.

  • I used to jerk off to Isis.

  • Those days are gone forever. We will never have have Saturday morning cartoons or shows like these again. I am glad I grew up in that era; as cheesy as it may have been. It was fun while it lasted.

Now, all our cartoons are anime and they suck! American cartoons deserve to be drawn in America, not Korea.

  • and dry up like the desert!

  • I had a huge crush on Isis. :D I miss those shows.

  • Where's the episode where we discover that Isis was the Patroness of Prostitutes?

  • Joanna Pang is hot.

  • Where do you find this stuff!!!!! CLASSIC! Thank you!

    Andrea (same name as ISIS)

  • hoooooooooo!!!!

  • I USED TO WATCHE THIS SERIE

  • Love me some Joanna Cameron.

  • COOL!! I trust she's still as hot....keeping busy keeps you young, and that's a fact! Thanks for the info, msm!

  • Whatever became of Joanna Cameron...???

  • Makes you wonder why parents today are freaking about Harry Potter being "satanic" when kid's entertainment had more sorcery than you could shake a sword at 35 years ago...

  • Wife of Black Adam

  • Ha ha she became a terrorist.

  • WHAT DA HELL!!!??? Your a Sorcerer!!!!!????

  • Champion of truth, justice, and the Egyptian way!!! Wow, so many years later and she STILL is a babe. Would love to see what she looks like now. I was sure when I was ten that I would marry her.

  • I wonder who would win between isis or wonder woman?

  • I know this is going to sound wierd. But I wish every single kid who felt that suicide was their only hope had Isis in their lives.

  • God, How I ADORDED this show when it was on...LOVE HER, LOVE HER, LOVE HER!!!!!!!!

  • When I was just a little boy, I distinctly remember Joanna Cameron giving me a funny feeling, you know... down there!

    She was insanely hot!

  • Hmmm.... how'd I miss this? When was it on?

  • oh...my God...she's hot!

  • I think this announcer did the voiceover on Boney M's "Rasputin" too.

  • Wow, sure brings back memories. Isis and Elektra Woman and Dyna Girl really had my juices flowing as a kid, even before I had juices!

Oh, and having to hide those little hard ons when someone would wander into the living room. LOL good times

  • I bought the dvd boxset and enjoyed seeing all those episodes once again. Good memories, but I can see why this was just for kids, it does gets a bit ridiculous. Isis and her great legs make it worth something for adult men though.

  • remember watching this as a kid

  • Yeah and Zahi Hawass wants his amulet back!!!

  • Isis was even hotter the second season. When she took off her glasses she looked like Catherine Zeta-Jones. Even her closest friends didn't recognize her.

  • i remember this???

  • I wish I could have met either of the ladies on the show. It would have been a "hot & bothered" situation...I would have been hot; they would have just been bothered. : - (

  • We had the best Saturday morning TV shows when I was a child. Here are just a few > Isis, Shazam, Electra Woman & Dyna Girl, Sigmund & The Sea Monster, Wonder Bug & Land Of The Lost. The may have had cheap special effect and been very cheesy but they were and are great fun!!!

  • @jtjmusic07, Do you remember “Liddsville”? Arguably the most bizarre concept for a TV series ever to make it on the air, topping even “Rubik: The Amazing Cube.”

  • @jtjmusic07 dont forget H.R. Puffinstuff

  • This might be where my fascination with Ancient Egypt started!

  • @usblueflyer this is where me looking into isis and her veil has taken me. lol, u started with egypt; while i started my search else where and come to the finish line with egypt... im ready to move on to more ancient truths.

  • I don't know about Horshepsut's descendants but Erica Durance sure was endowe.

  • I agree does nayone know is this on DVD?

  • @lsarac1 Yeah, it's on DVD, the whole series, check amazon for it, it's not that cheap though and all on 3 dvds....

  • gosh, too bad to find out that Isis is the goddess of witchcraft and magic...indoctrination at a young age...I had no clue. I just wanted to find the amulet in my back yard and fly, fly away like a little bird.

  • @msmiche1000

Yeah, be careful. You don't want to wind up like Christine O'Donnell.

  • Remember watching this on Saturday afternoons. Does anyone know if these original eipsodes are available on DVD?

  • @rjsmth it's on dvd, search amazon for secrets of isis.......

  • Comment removed

  • fuck spongebob!

  • Lets not forget Electro woman, Dina girl?

  • @msmiche1000 NEVER!

  • Comment removed

  • Anybody know where to get a copy of the amulet . I am a collector of 70's props

  • I used to think that amulet was so cool.

  • Isis and Wonder Woman were my superheroes when I was a little girl. They were SMART, pretty, had cool jobs and kicked @ss! I don't know who little girls look up to now, but if it's Hannah Montana or any of those other "singing" Disney girls, it's kind of a shame.

  • Isis was FINER than frogs hair. Damn Cindy Lee, you were hurtin' a kid back in the day!

  • Give me a Bugs Bunny cartoon anyday.

  • Wonder Woman was still the hottest! :)

  • She's been my crush since I've first saw her

  • My 2nd real crush.

  • Man!!! She was a HOTTIE!!!

  • It's recorded by placing the tape recorder near the speaker of the T.V.

  • I wish ISIS would use her powers and save us from this government who has ruined TV! Return us to the ancient 70's when TV ruled!

  • I had a crush on Cindy Lee

  • Damn fine looking woman. Too bad she cant stay like that after 30 years.

  • @Mark2790 That's fo sure because she's aged

  • AMAZING!!! ISIS REALLY KICK ASS!!! I WAS IN LOVE OF ISIS!!!

  • I was maybe 8 years old when this show first came on ... she's the first woman I ever remember getting me hot and bothered ...

  • @SilenceIKissYou I was 9 when this came out & she really had me going

  • LOL!

  • Gimme Isis over Wonder Woman any day!

    Sooo hoTT!

  • She made horny Saturday Morny.

  • Isis is hot. CIndy Lee was kind of hot too. I still don't get why they replaced her during the second season. Then that season was only about three episodes long. Although CIndy seemed to have a constant problem with getting her foot spranged. lol

  • I loved this show when I was a kid!

  • your a lucky stiff we had to sit and watch this fake stuff cause my sisters yes i said sistersthere was five of them always watch this on saturday morning blah blah

  • The only reason I know about this show at all was because I spent a year in Canada. It never aired in my country. I wonder why they didn't buy it? Oh, well.

  • LOL at Guitcad1. As a child I think her magic power got me too.

  • Oh my Queen said the royal sorcerer to "Hatshepsut ...with this amulet you and your descendants are endowed by the Goddess Isis. With the powers of the animals and elements you will soar as the falcon soars...run with the speed of gazelles & command the elements of sky and Earth

  • 3,000 years later, a young science teacher, dug up a lost treasure and found she was heir to a secrets of Isis. And so, unknown to even her closes friends, Rick Mason and Cindy Lee, she became a dual person; Andrea Thomas, teacher (oh mighty Isis!) And Isis, friend and foe of evil. Defender of the weak, champion of truth and justice.

  • ISIS and Shazam were 2 good shows I remember back in the 70s.

  • I love these old 70's shows! I remember them all.

  • I was about 6 when this was on their air. God, I was really into this show.

  • @drgregsgurl it's so awesome to type in a show and see

the the intros and episodes.Shows that I have not seen footage of since they aired

    in th70's totally CRAZY!!!!!!

I have to get away from youtube....arghhaaa!!!!

  • I know what you're talking about. It's like Nostagia city on this site.

  • Me too, me too! In fact, I was Isis for Halloween that year! My mom made my costume and everything. I think I have a photo of it somewhere...it was fun! :)

  • Saturday Morning shows like this were much better and gave better values than what kids watch today. Too much mean sprited shows on today.

  • James from Starbucks, is that you?? How strange to see you here...my sister sent me this video. We used to watch this show!

  • Parents give kids values, not television shows. :P

  • If only!

  • Too many shows trying to hawk cheap toys too.

  • @OttoJames

    .

You are my kind of person...

    .

I remember watching the "Shazam Isis Hour" and "Land of the Lost" and "Run Joe Run" on Saturday mornings in the 70s...

    .

The children of today will NEVER have the joy we did back then....they are all plugged into the Internet and IPODs, and IPHONES like a bunch of BORG Zombies...

    .

    Sad....

  • @ThoughtTraveler yes your right the good days of family tv are over now all the garbage I remember this show I used to watch it,,everything on tv now is a stupid reality show and I cant stand it,,,kids today dont have the joys of what good tv shows were when I was young in the 70s,,its so sad,,,indeed..

  • there is a place on the web you can go to that has alot of the 1970s shows up for sale and cds of the shows and music I found my kids from Caper cd there who remembers them,,,

  • @ThoughtTraveler They actually did more than one series of Land of the Lost and also Lost world by arthur Conan Doyle series, also lost was probably inspired by it also.

  • @OttoJames

    i agree. good observation.

  • I agree. good observation.

  • @OttoJames

And so realistic! All of my high school Egyptologists were like this.

  • u r so right about that

  • @OttoJames obviously you are jewish

  • Since pretty much every female deity wants to take credit for building Themyscira nowadays, I'm surprised WW and Isis haven't worked together some.

  • i was a young adult-and i still loved these shows-i wish my grandkids now--could see this

  • Damn she was FINE! I think she gave me my first boner. I didn't know what the hell that was. I thought it was because of her magic power!

  • @Guitcad1 Oh MY God, thats the most helarious thing somebody ever wrote on youtube, LMAO as im writing this.

  • @Guitcad1 u should see her now..

  • @Guitcad1 Sure is a good thing that "Shazam" didn't give that boner instead, eh?

  • @Guitcad1 LMAO!!!!

  • @Guitcad1

    In a way, it was.

  • love this show growning up back in the 70's why can't kids shows today be like these shows?

  • ISIS IS FUCKING HOT!!!!

  • @klimber1000 Me too! I loved this show!

  • Apparently Joanna Cameron now is a marketing director for a couple of hotels on the Big Island of Hawaii. Jackson Bostwick of Shazam has his own web page and responds to emails (try googling it), but give him time (a month) to respond.

  • Wow, that brought me back. Way, way, way, way, way back ... last time I saw that (and I think I saw it many times) I was a young child, ill-equipped to make much sense of it. And yet it formed me.

  • DC Comics owns the rights to her now.

  • isis i love you you are the truth godness!!mexico loves you!!!!

  • Wow, this brings so many memories during my childhood. I used to remember watching this show, and seeing this beautiful woman playing Isis. Man, this woman is fine.

  • Im at the age now to where im beginning to think more about my mortality but this stuff makes me proud & unashamed to be in my 40s.I mean what are the kids now gonna have to be proud of?I dont see very many things. Thanks youtube for my pre teen memories.Ahh Sat.morn,Soul Train,ABandstand,Scooby Doo,Banana Splits,Bugs Bunny,Woody Woodpecker,McGilla Gorilla,&on we go!!!!

  • @iluvrachellef

I agree with you so much. It really sucks getting older but I wouldn't want to trade the memories of these great shows for anything. Being a kid in 70s was awesome!

  • You are so right. The cartoons they have out now are really not worth watching. The ones back in the days are funnier. Bigs Bunny was definitely my favorite because he made all those hunters look like idiots. Daffy Duck too.

  • @stonecold8898 Wabbit seasons...

    DUCK SEASON! FIRE!

  • One of my favorite shows from childhood. And Bionic Woman and Wonder Woman!

  • Joanna Pang is smokin Hot

  • I bet they all did porn after this....lol

  • what a meat head....

  • oh my gosh....me and some friends were talking about this and Shazam...and I said let's go to youtube to see if they have something....we are dying laughing. we used to love this show on sat morning...and Isis was a hottie wasn't she?

  • i forgot about dr shrinker dr shrinker he's a madman has an evil mind

  • He's as crazy as you'll ever find!

  • oH MIGHTY iSIS , LIFT YOUR SKIRT..

  • ohhh yessss

  • yarrrrrr

  • YARR

  • Best Shows on Sat morning...

    1. Shazam; 2, Superfriends; 3. Isis; 4. Doctor Shrinker; 5. Electra Woman and Dyna Girl; 6. Josie and The PussyCats; 7. Josie and The PussyCats in Outer Space; 8. Sigmund The Sea Monster; 9. H.R. Pufnstuf; 10. Land of The Lost; 11. School House Rock; 12. Sabrina The Teenage Witch (original cartoon); 13. Hong Kong Fooey; 14. Wacky Races; 15.Wonderbug; 16. Scooby Doo

  • I couldn't agree more. My kids are 8, 5 and 5. They are truly missing out.

  • The paradigm shift in programming today, where kids can watch cartoons and other shows all day long if they want, 24/7, has really ruined the experience for them, I think. None of it is seen as particularly "special" anymore, because it's all so readily available. It makes it all the more disposable.

(Same with movies and seasonal shows that used to only be available to watch once a year, like "It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown," or "The Wizard Of Oz.")

Saturday morning was a ritual, and

  • ...oops I cut myself off......

    I was going to say...

Saturday morning was a ritual that most kid shared. We all have those fond memories.

  • while i agree with some of your choices you omitted the most important one and i wonder how you could. the bugs bunny show should've been at the top of your list. this was ritual for me every saturday morning at 9am on abc for a blissful hour and a half! oh to have that time back again laying on the floor eating a bowl of car'n crunch and laughing so heartily!!

  • OMG I just had a 70's overload.... Tell paople to sit down b4 unleashing that much chilhood

  • I couldn't find Dr. Shrinker... : (

  • Go to Wikipedia. There's an article on it, there.

And there's a link on the bottom of the Wikipedia page called "70's live kid vid."

They have a youtube video embed on the Wiki page but it was removed by the user. There are also two trailers for two episodes there as well, though.

The trailers have extensions that end in ".rm."

They can be viewed on "V L C player."

  • Wow I remember her, she gave me my first chubby, lol, and electro woman got me into puberty early....

  • Defender of the week...

Next week we'll have Shazam. We promise.

  • I remember about the show but not too many specifics. Great looking woman though! I remember some sort of bad guy with one eye and a crystal or something in the other. Anyway, not the same makers as He-Man and She-Ra but Shelimer and Prescott must have made a fortune in the 70's and 80's.

  • Joanna Kara Cameron is her name. Wow is she hot! After this she worked in the home care industry for about ten years. Now she does marketing for some hotel chain. What a trip seeing this clip from my childhood. Thanks.

  • To Saulg21: Yes, these live action shows were made by Filmation, the people that brought popular cartoons as Archie, the groovy goolies, and Sabrina. They also made live shows such as ARK II and Space Academy.

  • wow i remeber that! i was a kid then

  • Aren't these the same producers that made cartoons like He-Man,and She-Ra? It's a shame now a days kids are into all these crappy Japanese anime toons. Shows like Shazam,Wonder Woman, and Isis taught values.

I bought one of my little nephews a yo-yo for his fifth birthday a few weeks ago and he just looked at it and asked,"Where do the batteries go?"
