look at his hand movement and listen to the guitar. if its a higher pitch at the start of te strum it's an upstroke, if its lower it's a down. if your not sure hold the same chord and play it yourself.

If by any chance you could figure out how to play another brad paisley song called "letter to me", and post another info video...that'd be awesome.
