yo man. My red pad has this awkward air bubble thats very annoying. im pretty sure youre the same guy i saw complaining about the airbubble on the rockband forum. (if im wrong my bad)Anyway, did you ever find a fix? i havent FC'd a song since the airbubble popped up!

Yeah it was me. Not to be vulgar but my air bubble makes the red pad look like a small boob. Mine has not popped yet but it is annoying. However the red pad is still playing like the day it came out of the box. As of now there is no fix that I know of.

ya. well now my blue pad is cracked so im sendin in for a new one. i have a red "nipple" pad and a Crack of a blue pad! hahaha. slaps knee. sighs....

Yeah! I took my red drum pad off and all of the plastic and stuff under it was cracked EVERYWHERE. It's pretty stupid.

hbk do those black drumsticks come with the drum set?

They are actually purple. LOL they do not come with the kit. They are Vic Firth Dave Weckyl series sticks. It is time for a new pair but they are by far my favorite sticks. Light enough to move but just heavy enough to give a little weight and balance. They are modified 7A's which Dave constructed himself. so they are longer and a tad heavier than a standard 7A stick.

Yes if you fall into the catagory of people I listed in the review totally! it comes with two cymbals they make you buy the third. Any E-cymbal will work with the kit though as I use my Roland V-cymbal with mine.

hows the rebound compared to a real drum set?

There is noway you will ever duplicate the rebound of an acoustic kit. No matter who or what it is. However rebound wise these drums have some great rebound to them, unlike the RB1 kit that was just rebound dead.

For those that can afford it I say this is the next best thing. 100% accuracy so far. I have heard that for left handed people there could be a problem with the cymbal set up because of the red pad not functioning as a hi-hat. Any lefties with ION want to chime in? For folks who do not play a lot or do not have the cash, I still recommend the Good Wood's.

grreat run is the rb2 kit better than rb1  i haerd that there are quiter and that the rebound is perfect

yeah mine had problems but i just put 2 rubber bands around the pads with problems and made an x with them my pads are perfect now

This is what I am hearing and it is being looked into. You had 15 of the best drummers as far as Harmonix was concerned testing these things, and none of the problems we have read in the forums none of us had. This is the reason we posted videos which I still have more of. However we did give Harmonix a ton of feedback and things to fix and what things could be better. I think that this is part of the reason RB2 kits are hard to find right now.

Yes the RB2 kit is way better. The Rb2 kit also seems to be able to take more abuse.
