  • Shouldn't this be scc ft. Jb??

  • Love SCC and JB, and this song...this was perfect! And joe will always be my favorite :)

  • i am so proud! well done!

  • I am glad I ran into this. I really respect the Jonas' brothers as they are not ashamed to stand up for their faith, their beliefs and their morals. It has been long known they are faithful Christians. Nick started his career as a child recording Christian albums. They all wear "promise" rings, where they promise to safe themselves for the one woman they are to marry. I have a lot of respect for them, I admire that!

  • wow. just wow. I cried :) this is awesome :) :)

  • This really made me cry! Because Stephen lost his daughter and she was very young. But when Jonas Brothers sang this song with Stephen it made more special. And I think that Joe really respects Stephen.

  • they think they can sing a cristiana song and they become good people and 'cristiana? sorry but it does not work like that. you have to give ''God'' your heart and soul and every thing you got is his. This makes me mad.

  • they think they can sing a cristiana song andn they become good people and 'cristiana? sorry but it does not work like that. you have to give ''God'' your heart and soul and every thing you got is his. This makes me mad.

  • Yeah I have respect for them also ESP. Because they stick to their morals.

  • Jonas is so much better than that miley cyrus and bieber crap. i actually respect these guys.

  • i feel bad for what happend to his daughter and this is the song tht im going to dance to with my dad in my fifteens

  • @musicplayer451 what happened to his daughter

  • @premiumprime1998 she died when she was only three yrs old. I don't remember of what, but it was some sort of diesease or sickness

  • @musicplayer451 no, Stephen's older son accidentally ran her over when she was playing in the driveway..

  • @premiumprime1998 his son accidentally hit her when she was playing in the driveway.. :\

  • You really don't find many guys like the Jonas Brothers anymore. I believe they are true gentlemen. I hate how people make fun of them. All they ever do is speak words of kindness and love.

  • This melts my heart. To know that Stephen and his beautiful family had to endure the loss of Maria Sue...it just kills me. How heartbreaking. I would never have the courage to get up there and sing that song while thinking about the daughter I don't have anymore.

And I LOVE the way JB was just singing their hearts out with Stephen. Such passion. They are such amazing boys filled with respect and compassion for Stephen.

  • the saddest part to me was when the video ended :) this is amazing...

  • the jonas brothers are such great examples of Christians living in Hollywood. God bless them and Steven!

  • I just got tears just now, just listening to this and watching the video of them performing. This song makes me cry, even after knowing what happened with Steven Curtis Chapman's daughter. I can't stop crying about it. God bless him. And God bless the Jonas Brothers.

  • Awwwr *__________* :')

  • Such a beautiful song :)

  • I never understood why people give the Jonas Brothers such a hard time. I definitely think they've got talent. And not just anyone can sing with SCC!

  • wat is this true? JONAS BROTHERS AND STEVEN CURTIS CHAPMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thank you for posting this video! Great quality!! I am so glad to know that the JB's love the Lord this much to invite SC to sing with them!!

  • what a beautiful ending

  • I was at this show - Joe's harmony on this was absolutely beautiful!

  • wow this is amazing i love the jo bros this song and steve <3

  • beautiful song and harmonies

  • My bffl is his neice. IM NOT LIEING its cool. Im going to c him then go eat dinner with my bff and him. CAN'T W8

  • haha, joe's cute in this video.

  • The jonas bros and steven should record this in a studio together :) it's a beautiful song. I love it when joe says "cinderella" and i love the new ending

  • i had heard that he changed the end to "the dance will go on" but when i heard him sing that i just started crying... R.I.P. Maria Chapman <33333

  • I love this song I was listening to it in the car earlier...... 106.9

  • wow! I heard the song long time ago, but I dont knew about the video of Steven with the JB.

It was amazing, and you have it in HD

    It´s in my favs

  • I love this version more and more every single time i listen to it :)

  • Wow *___* Great Song... *gg*

Their voices sound so good together : )

    I < 3 the JoBros : )

  • how did his daughter die ?

  • It's said that her brother hit her with the car by accident :(

  • I'm just cry...

  • True, i don't really like the jonas brothers either, (not my style of music) but you don't need to persecute them. Steven Curtis Chapman would be dispealsed with a comment like this, and more importantly, the One he serves wouldn't be happy with this.

  • I don't know why, but i felt like i should reply to you.

You're the first person i've actually seen who may not like the Jonas brothers for their music (..which is fair enough) but isn't disrespectful or really rude like some people are!

    As a fan, thankyou :)

  • Thanks, I usually get slammed for comments like that, so this has really encouraged me.

BTW they do have a song that i really like: Year 3000 :)

  • Well people ususally don't allow others to think freely, they try to get them to think how they do, when the reality is you can't change a persons mind and you have to respect that. Everyone has their perspective, and it's annoying that someone's even attempting to change that by slamming people they don't even know, down.

And, they didn't write the song. It's originally by Busted, but they allowed Kevin to re-write it cuz they're friends.

  • this song always makes me want to cry

  • this song is so touching...i herd it with my friend katie when we were browsing youtube...when my friend anna told me why he wrote it i almost cried when i listened to it again...he wrote it cuz his daughter died when she was 3... :*(

  • he actually wrote it before she died

but it's such a beautiful song isn't it?

  • This is such a beautiful song...fyi his daughter was 5 when she died and he actually wrote this song for her daughters before she died

  • He wrote it for his daughters, before Maria died. He re-wrote the end verse "But I know the truth is, the dance will go on." after she died. He wrote it back when Emily was first engaged to Tanner and realized the urgency to after giving the three little girls their baths.

  • i love this song!!! <3 i honestly never knew who steven chapman was until this and now im in love with this song it makes me cry everytime <3

  • theres one harmony thats repeated a few times by whatever jonas brother starts out with steven curtis chapman, thats just not workin for me. other than that, great performance!!

  • guys thats not nick it joe... ToT but this song is so goooooddddd!!!

  • it is one of the jonas'... i dont know enough abotu them to know what one, but i think it is nick...

  • Its not nick iys Joe but t is easy to get them confused! lol I love this song I first listened to it when it came out on the wow cd. its amazing

  • He's Joe, (the one sitting down near him) but you can hear Nick's vocals in the backgrounds. Nick's the youngest Jonas Brothers member with dark-brown curly hair, Joe's the middle one with his hair straight up- like David Henrie's used to be, Kevin's the oldest with curly hair also, but you can easily tell Nick and him apart.

  • @thtzttlykewl Yes you can definelty hear Nick. he sings the first part of the chourus the second time

  • this song is soo cute it almost made me cry and i thought nick voice was steven their both soo awesum i love this song

  • when Nick started to sing I thought.. Huh.. The voice of Stephen looks like nick's voice.. but then I saw Stephen wasn't singing XD

    Nick I love you<3

    JB for life<33

  • what a nice song.

    it made me cry.

  • Nick's voice... aw

  • everytime i hear this song i love it more and more =D

  • you guys rock my heart 4 life

  • what's in joe's hand?

  • I want to say it's a percussion instrument similar to a rain stick.

  • A tamborine

  • a tambarine

  • its a shaker. there's bead inside of it.

  • actually it's Steven Curtis Chapman ft. the Jonas Brothers because that's Steven Curtis Chapman's song.

  • AMAZING!!!!

    Makes me cry every time!

  • These boys/men are very good people. They always hide thier christian messages in thier songs and I love it. They are very true to themselves and God and thier fans. I love the fact that they have great repsect for other artists. I know they were honorred to be able to play with shuch great musicians.

  • God Bless you!

  • you guys know that their dad is an ordained minister right? and that both their parents were christian singers? those boys have the christian morals that make them who they are today, and they are such amazing men of God!!! i am so proud of them standing up for all they believe in.

and i love Steven Curtis Chapman!!! this song is amazing. it's so sad that such a horrible thing had to happen to your family, but you stayed strong with God and you made it through!!!

    AMEN!!! : )

  • wait how do u know if the jonas brothers are christian because if they really are i would love to hear them sing christian songs you know so i can actualy buy one of there cd's

  • Yea, with Hollywood Records, they can't record christian songs. But they still write them anyway, That's what their mom said in an interview. Song of their songs have christian messages in it, but not too obvious.. but yea,

  • Yes, they are CHRISTIAN!

  • i hope the jo bros are CHRISTIAN cuz i am

  • oh wow when Joe sings like that and he gets so into it, it just gives me chills. They are amazing.....such a cute song.

  • love this song!! they're all amazing musicians

  • Uh!! The first time I heard this song was the night I graduated, on my way out the door leaving for project grad. My parents and I started bawling. lol.

I know it's cheesy, but the story behind the song is so sad.. :(

  • i am hardcore bawling - Joe's face throughout the entire song was just so passionate

i love stephen curtis chapman - what an amazing man of God

  • I agree with you, I had posted to another one of these that he seemed in such deep thought at times during the song and I wondered what he was feeling as he sang this with Stephen, whom I also love by the way. Nick even sings a part too, but you can't see him here, but I would have loved to have been there to see it in person. :-) Oh and I cried too the first time I watched it too!

  • I absolutely love this song. It makes me cry everytime I hear it.

This rendition of it was beautiful.

  • I don't know how many times I've watched this now, lost count, but it still gives me chills each time. They harmonize so well together and the song is just as amazing and powerful when Stephen sings it alone, but this version is very special too. Wow!

  • WAIT...? Isn't Stephen Curtis Chapman a christian singer?

  • yea! isnt that awesome :] and the jonas brothers? its amazing together.. this song has quite a story behind it though

  • Wow. Joe's voice is so versatile. he can sing almost any style of music and make it sound good. For those who say the Jonas Brothers can't sing, they should watch these videos.

  • I agree a thousand percent!! These boys are more than just pretty faces, they really believe in what they do and are very blessed with the gift of music, it shows even more now I think as they are getting older and this show just proved they are the real deal in my opinion. :-)

  • i agree with you 100%. the way joe harmonized with steven curtis chapman made the song sound that much better and when nick sang some of the chorus it sounded amazing. i think they should record this song with him and release it. i would love to hear it minus the screaming
