@ojyhofoy then you do not know how to take flight sim to the next level because you do not want to take the time and learn how to fly the aircraft properly and the way it should be flown
Bluenoser, think of it this way. Imagine being at an airshow, or a museum, and being "handed the keys" to a P-47. Just sitting in the cockpit, and knowing that all controls, gauges, and systems driving those gauges function like the real things. Crank it over, start it up - broooom! Before you have even moved, your adrenaline is pumping. This is what Accu-Sim is about.
mhe0815, Yeah thanks for the suggestion. I like flying more than pushing buttons and operating a computer within a computer though. No time for button pushing jet sims these days, which is why I gravitate toward things like Rise of Flight or Cliffs of Dover. Last detail realism with a Spit, Me109, or Jug = GREAT. Last detail realism with a modern jet = WORK. Just not enough stick time for that. I'll keep my eye out for what ED comes up with next though. If I can get some ACM, I might be in.
Is say the Spitfire compatible with Cliffs of Dover, and if so do the guns/cannons from Cliffs of Dover work with it? It seems a shame to fly around a Spit or a Jug that's useless in combat. I get the whole visceral, 'feeling of flight' thing, and that it's not about going pew pew pew with guns, but still - I'd love to see this level of realism available on an actual combat sim.
I love thinking about the future of A2A and its Accu-Sim addons... no matter the aircraft, I will buy it as I know it's as close as I will come to flying the real thing thing.
I love accusim and I kind of understand why all the planes are historic, but i'd really like to see some more modern GA planes by Accusim. For example a Piper Turbo Arrow, with correct turbo and engine behaviour, manual mixture, and realistic CS prop combined with superior flight dynamics of A2A/Accusim.
These planes you've made, they have a soul. They want to be flown. When I first got the P-47, I decided I wasn't going back to the default planes and I wasn't going to get any other 3rd party offerings. There's nothing out there even close to Accu-sim.
When ever I fly the Spitfire or B-17 Accusim, the word I keep thinking of is "Mechanical" These two sims just feel so alive and so much like a machine! They make my brain think just like it has to when I fly a real world aircraft...all the things you must be aware of and consider..no other aircraft in my virtual hangar requires this sort of attention..I love them both...
Agreed: I can't fly anything that is not Accusimmed anymore... I am eagerly awaiting the P-40 and P-51 (and quite frankly anything else A2A serves up!)!
A2A and acu-sim have ruined all the fsx planes i have bought over the years.Multi engine piston planes being my favourite to fly theres nothing out there that comes close to the B17 and the 377 with Captain of the ship.I cant wait for more and please stay away from jets and keep the old classics coming A2A.
how nice voices everybody have. I speak like a retarded :-/
That J3 take-off where the wheels bounces but the airframe remains still made me realize that one more thing yet to fix with accu-sim is how energy not absorbed by the schoks should reach the rest of the airplane.
OH Wow - you even have Derek!! I've never heard my editor speak (oh the joys of the Internet). I echo his sentiments though. Accusim is a revolutionary step forward in flight simulation fidelity and technology.
I would love to see a C-46 with Accu-Sim in FSX :)

@Bluenoser71170 So you should get DCS A10C then, it's as real as it gets for a civilian. But be prepared to learn a lot though...

The two most aircraft I thought would be a great addition are the WoP P51 amd if you could do a DC3 or 2.

the PMDG737NGX and the Accusim B17 and spitfire are all I fly now! They are the only few aircraft that feel alive underneath the skin.
Looking foward to the new P51

Accu-Sim gives these planes a soul. with the feel of the stick and the feel of the engine, the plane was alive.
