hey dude please help me u see my laptop is a windows 7 HP and my screen broke 1 week ago (some one stepped on it) and i connected it to the large screen but my pc gets connected to steam and skype but it wont let me play games online or go to internet explorer i am using a cable right now so can u please help me?

All of this had already been done ,but it still says that little connectivity thing. Is there something else I can do??

@adiosk8rdude2 it's either your driver(s) or the distance between you and wherever you get your connection from or it could be a lot more, maybe serious or not... I don't really know what you mean by "little connectivity thing" but if it's just a kind of note that apears in your bottom-down corner then it's either your driver(s) or the laptop/computer itself. by the way, I ain't no way near being an expert :)

uhmmm i have i problem regarding disconnection when too many laptop are using wifi connection in 1 router..what should i do?

I still don't get a connection. And I'm not really sure if I'm typing those numbers in correctly in that 'protocol' tab because they're so small on the screen. Can't tell if the first 3 numbers are 200 or 208.

@soundsurgeon watch the tutorial again, it is now annotated so you clearly understand what numbers to put in the fields.

@vio4ever I got it work by checking the the "Use Windows To Configure network setting" box.. My only concern is, why was it unchecked at the first place? It never happened before until I recently downloaded AVG full edition which includes a firewall and all that crap.. I think it's the avg firewall that's disabling some of my crap...

@rubygo100 I have a COMPAQ C700, which had Window Vista at first, but I installed windows xp for a better efficiency.
