Great job. I found that I like tuning my high E string to F#. It seems to add to the energy of the song. Then I can just play power chords up the neck during the chorus (except for the 2nd, inverted chord).
Another alteration I like is to play the C#m chord the same as the G#m7, at the 7th fret. Not much difference, but it just shimmers a little more.
@Jean1juan Technically, I believe he is playing a B with an E bass. B5/E is how it'd be written. All you do in this song to change between the B chord and the B5/E, is mute the lowest E string for the B chord and unmute it for the B5/E

@Jean1juan yeah, @bmac1219 is right. The ONLY difference between the "B" and "E" is the muting/unmuting of the low E string.
