  • Miss you so much Stuart, we all should have looked after you more when you were with us, the world is such an empty, soulless place without you I never knew you back then but I wish I could go back in time and take away all of your pain. Sleep in peace now beautiful.

  • i used to play Big Country's Harvest Home when i was 10 or 11 every night when i'd go to sleep. i just read how Stuart passed and it really hurt my heart. Stuart may Gods peace be with you brother.

  • love it

  • I very belatedly got into Marcus Hummon, after meeting him at primarliy a Beth Nielsen Chapman gig at Brighton. I created a video on here yesterday to celebrate Marcus's wonderful song "BLESS THE BROKEN ROAD" but "MY ONLY CRIME" is truly wonderful too. Thanks for this video, very belatedly.

  • U can make the first cut on the left of my chest For the flesh there is soft&the cutting is the best &put my heart into a box,a music box &take me out from time to time

So I can see U,my only crime

Was losing the line btween ur heart&mine

Burn my body, baby, for it wasnt any use

I wont run from the flames;dont have trouble w/the truth

&throw my ashes to the four winds

I will rise up again&wait on U from time to time

So we can touch my only crime

Was losing the line btween ur heart&mine

  • You can make the first cut on the left of my chest

For the flesh there is soft, and the cutting is the best

And put my heart into a box, a music box

And take me out from time to time

So I can see my only crime

Was losing the line between your heart and mine

  • Beautiful music- so light and tender...it makes me shivering and crying... so sad!!!

  • Wow... this is beautiful. Miss you Stuart, RIP.

  • when i 1st heard this song, i couldn't stop cryin! A fair few months b4 Stuart died; and for a few months after; now....it's soo totally 1 of my favs; has to be my fav. vocal after balcony [live]...from 1 end of the spectrum to the other!

    What a waste!

    Will always miss Stuart Adamson!

  • Just came across this for the first time today along with BC rarity PAN AMERICAN IRISH GIRL. What a giant of an artist and what a sad loss.

  • So Sad....but this is a timeless classic of a song writing genius!

  • I never believed in ghost or a God but if it's true that people only can reach heaven with the help of the love of other people because they are stuck in the fire between Heaven and Hell, and Stuart is still there, he has all my love! RIP

  • Bless your heart, Bram! I think that's the wisest thing you've ever said. We did love him so, did we not? and always will. What wouldn't any one of us have given, for the chance to give him one more chance.

    ER

  • It took me some time to respond, soon after that braincancer was diagnosed. still recovering but the music keeps me going.

  • This song always meant so much to me. Haunting, isn't it? Prophetic? Why, Stuart?

Type in "Ahab Callum Adamson" here and you will be happy to see that Stuart's son (who looks heartbreakingly like his dad) in a very talented band.

  • Heartbreaking.

  • I Miss You So Much Stuart..

    Why..

    =[

  • Miss you so much Stuart xx

  • thanks for letting us here the one and only Stuart Adamson in his fading days. The guy is a legend. Respect to you.

  • God! That voice, that beautiful brogue. It still sounds a bit BC. This one is tearing me apart. Damn, here come the tears--again!Stuart, Stuart, Stuart you're a bastard.

  • I just purchased this cd and once again the brilliance and beauty of Stuart Adamsons musical creations are something to behold.I would recomend it to any Big Country supporter. And like so many Big Country songs I am once again amazed and dissapointed that it did not get the radio airplay that it should have received."Supernatural" and "Driving to Damascus" should have established Stuart and Big Country in North America as both are brilliant pieces of work.God bless Stuart Adamson.

  • you can make the first cut on the left of my chest..

  • Thank you so much for posting this :)

  • first time I have heard the raphaels I miss Stuart Adamson.
