@FoodCubes If you want it to stick straight up, no. i would recommend a thicker foam, but you wont be able to do as many layers. Or, you could back the foam with some glue/fabric to make it a bit stiffer.
@FoodCubes They have a thicker versions of the same foam that I would recommend and if you glue 2 layers of it together it should stand pretty straight. If not you could put a loop of wire in between and that will and then some.
can you please tell me were i can get this to buy to make my own because a friend of mine and i are planning on opening a website to make and sell cyberlox , i dont have money to order the foam and stuff online right now and i was wondering if i can buy them in a store maybe an arts and crafts store or something
@HollyHorror87 you can see the ones i sell on my etsy site, (bunnyko.etsy.com) on a fake head. depending on the size of your bun, and the length of the falls will determine how they lay.
ok i have a problem. i made dread falls folding foam the same way as u hear.i puted them on an elasti butcan't get them on my hair. i'mnot sure how the explain it but if i put it around my ponn/bunn it doesn't fit becouse the foam is quite big in width (i've made 1inch ones) so it thicker than the bun and it can't be tied. i don't know if u get what i mean. help! xD
yeah, thats why i make mine at 1/2 inch, cause with one inch they fall weird. i get 10 of mine on one elastic for good coverage. i'd suggest just cutting them down smaller. sorry if thats not much help!
i guess i can fit them because my hair is really thick and i can get a thick bun on my head. i usually recommend taking a few off for those with fine hair, or adding a thick scrunchie around your bun to make it thicker.
yeah, this was actually a small part of the full tutorial. you make a bunch of those and thread lace or elastic through he loop at the top, then tie them on over yout hair (buns or ponytail)
then you can't wear falls unfortunately. You could get a wig and tie them onto that, i also have a new product i call "scrappies" where its 4 sets of foam glued onto a hair clip. not as full but cheap and people with short hair can wear them.
lol alot of people do! everyone in the fake-hair community was like "i have that shirt!" lol. i rarely wear it though, i have a hard time trying to figure out what to wear under it. =P
Do you think that foam falls would be stiff enough for a shortish 6-8 inch mohawk? Or do they have stiffer types of foam?

OHHH.
So like.
The loop at the end is like similar to dread falls cause you put a lace in it?
Im going to try to make Foam falls and cyberlox.
I think there very cool.
But I just like finished my first pair of layered dread falls and there okay but yeah haha.

Awesome video! Foam falls are by far the most under-appreciated of falls.
Yarn? Pshaw! Foam is less expensize, easier to work with and has a more polished look.

umm
this might sound stupid
but how do you put it on your head tho >?
