, and shows some examples: "one week anybody danced like this...the other like this..." etc

I may say Im appalled at the tone of some of these comments.

As a Townshend expert, I can tell you that he was indeed innocent. Hes been crusading against child porn for years. His own son, Joseph, was with him at the time of this particular bit of research. Pete was trying to prove a point with him about the evil of abusers. And yes, it really was research—tied in with his own abuse at the hands of his clinically insane grandmother in the 1950s that left him near catatonic (see Tommy).
