I was totally skeptical when this was announced but Xseed is one of my favorite publishers so I gave it a shot and I have to say that it actually surpised the hell out of me, its pretty damn good! The graphics and music are BEAUTIFUL, the redesigns of the characters are great, the fighting system, while simple, works very well and the game is just a joy to play. If anyone's interested track it down. Its pretty rare now with new copies going for about $50 to over $100 on ebay and amazon.

I'm a big fan of Oz, particularly the books, and I have to say--- This sucks. Why can't anyone make a decent Oz game? It's not like there isn't oodles of material to do so.

This is an interesting approach to the wizard of oz series. Frank L. Baum would be rolling in his grave if he knew what dorethy looked like.........that IS a complement for those who are wondering
