  • Thanks for your advice - that certainly kept me from breaking the module when removing it!

  • update the bios in order to recog the new RAM. I did this on my AO 532H Windows XP. Go to website and look up your computer and under drivers and downloads there is a "BIOS" tab. Dwnload the file and unzip You will see a NAV50122 setup folder. Click on that and it will give you an install screen and Restart twice to ensure installation. Then I shut the computer down to complete the update. Takes a while to shutdwn as things are overwritten.I used a Kingston 2GB PC2-6400 CL5 200-PIN SODIMM

  • what kind of ram is it because there is like ddr 1 2 and 3

  • You need to remove the battery.

  • HAH! Everyone keeps saying CCcleaner (notice the three C's), but it's pronounced C-cleaner. :P

On topic: Good video, a bit dark though.

  • can you tell me what the model and specs of the ram please?

  • Dude, I just wanna say thanks. You saved my ass. I ordered a 1GB stick thinking I had to add the RAM like the 8.9 inch requires instead of REPLACE it with a 2GB stick like the 10.1 I ordered will require. I ran across your video just in time to cancel and correct my order. :)

  • thank you so much.

  • THANKS ! have been looking all over net trying to figure out.

  • wow add ram to this netbook its easy!!!

  • Hello!, Excelent Video, ahmmm One Question, The Ram Old run a 533 Mhz o 667 Mhz??

    Bye! =D

  • hope it isnt to late to answer one of ur questions, the Acer Aspire One d150 models come stocked with the 1GB DDR2 533Mhz, Most netbooks support up to 667Mhz speed 2GB DDR2, i believe that's the case with this one, they might support 800Mhz, but 1066 or anything over 800, is likley not possible...just becus of the chipset support etc.

667Mhz would be a definite estimate, and a good upgrade
