Higurashi actually isnt about mindless gore ,as you can see everything in this anime has a reason and there are only few disturbing gore scenes in this show and they are(neil ripin,satakos torture and this) ,this anime is also full with happy,cute and funny moments.

When i saw this scene the first time i was like WTF but my curiosity made me watch this anime and i loved it(even thou i am not a horror fan), so if you like kawai and a good story with plot twits i would recommend you this anime .
