Good solution would be Edge growing a bushy beard to reinforce his manly manliness, some scars, muscles, cigar. Reimi... erm.... You know what, I really just want to turn Edge into a cheery blonde Snake. Reimi can just wear a tank top and be more casual, Edge though needs to spend time in the Russian forests eating crocodiles and stuff.

One thing I will say is good about the cut scene, the design on the characters is subtle enough that you can see Kenny is American while the others are Oriental.
