  • huh? what the fuck is this crock saying?

  • Good message but the man of lawlessness is all catholic no 1 did not see the murder your pit done and still call themselves going to church to praise God,come out the church to commit more murders and you call yourself God`s people, you have prospered in everyway from murder stealing decieving and you are the best no Jesus is not coming for caucasians.

  • Actually, the Bible calls the man of sin/lawlessness; the son of perdition. Perdition in the Greek is Apolleia, which means destruction, judgment, perishness. Which son of God, or creation of God, is destined for judgment and destruction? It is Satan. So, the Antichrist is basically Satan incarnate, as it says in 2 Thess. chpt. 2, his coming is in accordance withe the working of Satan. God bless.

  • @munku121 You fail to see that there is an unholy trinity in the book of Revelation. The "little horn" (Dan.7), "man of sin, son of perdition" (2Thes.2:3), "sea beast" (Rev.13:1-10), and the "scarlet harlot" (Rev.17)...are all speaking of the same entity. The "antichrist" is not Satan incarnate. Rather, Satan gives all his authority to the antichrist (Rev.13:2).

Historic Protestantism correctly identified the antichrist entity; modern-day dispensational futurism abandons the Reformation.

  • @bzel333 thanks for the info

  • Great sermon - I plan to use this in a Sunday school lesson. Can you divulge the church and name of this minister either in a post or in an email to me? I really feel this man is anointed with the Word and would like to follow his teachings more.

  • @ga6dg2sp1 His name is Ron Svendsen and he is the pastor of Valley Presbyterian Church in North Hills (Los Angeles) Ca. He is truly a man who understands the purpose of preaching!

  • "...so here it intends the whole hierarchy of Rome, monks, friars, priests, bishops, archbishops, cardinals, and especially popes, who may well be called "the man of sin"..." [John Gill's Exposition of the New Testament, 2Thes.2:3]

Anyone claiming that "antichrist" is some future, individual, "Mr. Diabolical", is totally abandoning historic Protestantism (a God-ordained movement), and embracing the counter-reformation lead by the "Society of Jesus", aka., the Jesuits.

  • 2 Thess. Chpt 2 is pretty clear. The man of sin, son of perdition, or Antichrist, is going to stand in God's temple and claim to be God, and perform signs and wonders to deceive people the people into thinking that he is God. Rev. 13 says that he has a mark that will be put in the forehead or hand of those who do not believe that the Lord Jesus is the Messiah. God bless.

  • @munku121 "The Lord Jesus Christ is the Head of the church...neither can the Pope of Rome in any sense be head thereof, but is that antichrist, that man of sin, and son of perdition, that exalteth himself in the church against Christ, and all that is called God; whom the Lord shall destroy with the brightness of his coming" [1689 London Baptist Confession, ch.26, sec.4].

*You need to do a little more study in the prophetic books, and quit following dispensational futurist errors.
