Van der Velde si andò a rifugiare in una roulotte, bevve un thè caldo e una volta riscaldato e asciugato prese un Moncler e infine arrivò al traguardo. Saronni fu visto in lacrime al passo del Gavia che chiamava la mamma e supplicava di tornare a casa il suo team manager... (questa tappa fu, semplicemente, una totale follia)

I was on the Passo di Gavia on the 20th ettappe from the Giro. Wow. There was snow and very cold. It was something very spectacular what i never forget.

@JOERAMONE3 I can imagine, all the names written in the snow and so. Was awesome stage from my warm home... But i believe, this stage showed was even more epic. And that's not because of the Dutch influence on it. Great day for cycling history!
