This is one cast I really don't care for. I have seen better productions at the High School level and I'm not kidding. Both the kids here who play Danny and sandy were picked from a reality tv show and that show was terrible.

@anne413able youre thinking too much of the movie. they cant possibly make everything the same. sandy doesnt NEED to be blonde and danny doesnt NEED to look like john trevolta. its a different feel but i kinda like it. if all revivals that were movies at one point tried to make everything the same as the movie, there would be no point in going to see the revival.

@lilmissrom Not necessarily. I think the original Sandy, Carole Demas, played her as a brunette or a redhead.

yea me too, at my local theatre we are doin the original 1972 version. Alone at the Drive in Movie is a much better song than Sandy....IMO i love the movie but that kinda annoys me lol. tho Your the one that i want is MUCHHHH better than All Choked Up

Do you know that the only reson it is off is because Laura and her husband want to have a baby and they cant have a fat Sandy so theyjust took it off for a while and how I know this is because my is Alllie Schulz she was on grease you are the one that I want for the role of sandy but now she is Rizzo on tour!

I saw the show just last night on tour with taylor hicks (who was awful). the only thing that wasnt good about the show (other than taylor mentioned above) was the sound system. some parts were so loud my ears hurt and sometimes we couldnt hear sandy at all. it gets a 7/10 for me. worth the money.

The first part singing "grease". It got a little better when they sang "we go together". I saw the show and I was excited about it and it wasn't a memorable performance at all. Just my opinion.

It was really good...I read sales for Grease went up after the Tony's show.

im not going to lie i really disliked this performance i thought that it lacked energy and vocal integrity especially in the begining

I agree. But in the show Danny [Max] and Sandy [Laura] don't sing Grease. So when the girls came out they had to pear them up with singing so Danny and Sandy can have parts. It's much better when they have individual parts.
