I hate those people that have to tell everyone that it's not galloping! Obviously the word means something different..... They are probably just jealous because a 3 year old can go faster then them
@LilMissYummyWummy in many languages they have only one word for canter and gallop. trust me i know polish. read the top comments maybe before making one that a billion other people made before.
@karolinarab Well sorry for just clicking on comment and saying what it it! You don't need to yell at me for it. I'm a show jumper so I was just saying that it was a canter in English! Just because I'm American doesn't mean you need to yell at me. Okay thanks bye.
@LilMissYummyWummy how was i yelling? and i live in canada and im a showjumper too and for us canter and gallop are two different things too but i was smart enough to read some of the comments.
i have a question i have riding lessons and i am not shure how u can tell if a horse is cantering or galloping i meam i know if they gallop in a race but on stuff i watch i just don't know
for all those people asking whats the difference between canter and gallop. canter is a 3 beat gait and gallop is 4 beat gait. The canter and gallop are related gaits, as the rider simply asks the horse to gallop from the canter by allowing it to lengthen its stride until it is four-beat, rather than three-beat.
@dressageandalusian ***i mean in a dressage test they do canter*** and in a race those race horses are galloping :) sorry its late and its not coming out the way i want it to haha :)
@dressageandalusian yes i know that, but the person at the top of the comments said that canter in some languages is called gallop not canter? So that would mean that a canter in these languages would be a slow gallop and a gallop would be gallop.....
why dont they go buy a fucking lungeline instead of turning the pony in tight circles a btw there are way to many riders in that class i think the more they can fit in the more money they will make tbh i wouldnt let my cousin ride there :L
great skills for a 3yo and great pony! i had a couple 4yo students and both were trotting with their ponies.. but there weren't ANY ponies that i would trust or that were that well trained for canter training! plus for a 3yo that's what you call a natural rider. i've seen and taught em at all ages and i could honostly say i know adults who have been riding for years that couldn't sit a horse that well on a perfectly trained horse as well as she can :)
in germany we also don't have a word for canter, it's alwas "galopp". whenever watching youtube videos of people galopping i wonder about all the nasty and know-it-all comments claiming their galopp was only a canter. WHY is this so friggin important to you guys???
WOW awsome!! :) No hands at one point haha that was great!! Cute girl and great pony!! And I have to agree with JuhMoskita, I'm from Poland and in Polish gallop means canter and canter is called cwal, so I assume it is the same in Russian. But who cares about the title of the movie? It is a cute little girl cantering a cute little pony what's not to like? :)
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
1) that's a slow canter not a gallop
2) all three of my cousins and I could do that when we were 2
3) she's so close to the instructor and the pony looks completely broke so it's not all that amazing sorry if you dissagree but that's just my opinion
And so is the pony!!! Anyway, I don't get why people see anything wrong in this... The horse is just cantering/galloping (I have no idea what it's called in english, in Sweden we call it 'gallopp') in a circle, and it's a small circle so that the instructor can catch the little girl if she loses her balance and falls. I don't know what you think, but children that age are very easily scared, if she would've fallen off the pony, she might have refused to get back up.
anyone else notice the circle the horse is cantering in is getting smaller? therefore making it hard for the horse to keep cantering yet shes telling it to? idiot instructors.
u do realise thats not a gallop thats a slow cantering in a circle wich is completely DANGEROUS . if that horse tripped ir got spooked it could injure that *** instructor
Well trained little pony!! That is really awesome :) Most ponies can be so hard to work with because they're such stubborn little creatures. I have never seen such a well handled animal!
LOL 0:10 - 0:13 hahah they should also really get a lunge line... and btw what was that girl doing with her hands?? Lol it was actually quite funny :)
What a little cutie! Wonder if she was having issues cantering and that's why there was no lunge line? It was a spur of the moment quick side lesson? The pony is sure tiny enough to make the circles around the girl with no issues...it's not like this is a 17hh horse making circles on a dime.....waving her arms is perfectly normal - I have seen much stranger things....lol

@LoveMitchelMusso92 This is no way of talking to a 16 year old girl and your rude and imbecile language has nothing to do with the freedom of any country. It is just boring bad behaviour. Nothing more.
@quiet9887 I feel so sorry about that rude and brainless answer by LoveMitchelMusso92. I do not know you or her but I know the annoying feeling of being insulted without any reason. I wish you a happy New Year!
@fahrzeit1 ASSHOLE. JUST KEEP UR DAMN MOUTH SHUT. NO ONE WANTS 2 HEAR SHIT COME OUT OF UR MOUTH. IDC IF U THINK WHT I SAID WUZ RUDE. LET ME SAY WHAT I WANT 2 SAY.
@LDloveshorses the instructor is lunging the pony to get him/ her to canter, i think its a rather smart thing to do so the little girl can hold her hand and learn to balance in the new gait. the hand waving might be another balance excercise, or maybe its just a cute little kid thing ( the girl is only 3!)

@LydzTWyliex i think she was lunging like that for safety, the ring looked pretty crowded so she was probably just staying close in case someone lost control.
@IBelongInTheSaddle99 Well if the pony is cantering, then why the crap does the name video say that the pony is golloping?!?... i mean hellooo, that's kind of a no brainer. and btw, i was saying that it was a "poor pony" because the arena is packed full of other horses and the pony could very easily get distracted and hurt not only the little girl and his/her self, but other people as well.and seriously, what's the difference between "gallop pony" and "galloping pony" ?!?!
@LDloveshorses i totally agree with u on #4! i mean the instructor shouldnt be letting her do that! they pony might be short, but they are powerful.if she gets kicked even if she is wearing a helmet she could get seriously hurt!
1. The instructor is good, serious and wants the child to be safe.
2. Poor horses having to do stupid things people want them to.
3. To make him run a bit faster so the child could get used to higher speed.
4. Maybe you've never seen such a thing but children usually wave to the camera or parents. People filming her laugh and are amused - they are probably family.
5. She is only 3! This is a gallop to her. So please think before you critisize a child, almost a baby
@JJoKKa4 i was not critisizing the child(did u not see the "no offence to the kid" in the comment?) critisizing the child wasnt the point of my comment at all, so please think before u critsize me about critisizing a child that i really wasnt even critisizing. thanks.
I do think before I write anything. And saying "no offence to the kid" does not exclude the offence. ;) If you don't believe me, ask a linguist why. And as I can see that I'm not the only one thinking like this, well... But I'm not here to argue, discuss, least of all insult you. I just wanted to give you "explanations" of things you obviously couldn't recognize in the video.
@genaRussiaUS ...what on earth would make you even ask that??? i didnt even say anything rude about the pony! and btw i like everything about horses, thank you very much.
@genaRussiaUS well, honestly, i dont know if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but if it is a bad thing, then i promiss i'm not. i love whales... haha but i am sorry that i was rude to you in the other comment, the other people were just getting me upset because they thaught that i was hating on the little girl, which i wasnt.
hahahaha everyone freaking out because the pony is only cantering - you've got to admist it's adrable anyway! people need to get over themselves, different words mean different things in different countries - i mean america and englan both speak english, but in england (i believe, correct me if i'm wrong) They call a horse blanket a rug, while in america we refer to them as blankets, and a rug is something that goes on the floor in your house... its all a matter of perspective, just get over it!
@horsecrazyhere You have no right to call me an idiot. If sunshine123276 is correct then i thinks thats cool but hey! i am from canada and have never been to Russia. And yes read the tittle, wait is a gallop pony a type of pony. I dont think so. Anyway. I just siad it was not a gallop. Why spaz on that? It true.
She is amazing! SO sweet! It must stink to ride in such a crowded arena, but she is doing so well! Amazingly balanced! She will be an amazing rider one day. Besides, so what if she didn't gallop? Just sitting on a horse is a lot for a 3 year old! Anyway, what were you doing when you were three?
That is exelent riding for a 3 year old !! but the horse only did a canter, not a gallop, but because the person who put the vidio up didn't speak english as a first laungage they wrote the wrong gate in the title.so to clarify for all people the pony only cantered not galloped, but that was still amazing riding for a 3 year old!!!!! :)
why are everyone telling her it's canter not gallop? maybe it is, but it says it's in russia so the person that posted this video is maybe not english, and I know cus I'm not english, It's hard to know all the words. I've always thought canter and gallop was the same thing, so don't get mad just cus she wrote the wrong word.
@sarlongin U sound like a little brat so what if she dint use the right word in some places they call a canter a gallop! NOBODY CARES IF U RIDE HORSES!!!
... are you guys kidding? this is how we should be teaching kids to ride. she's only three, and look how balanced she is! it's better to start riders out with no reins on a line like this, to teach them how to balance on their seat and not hands, as she's clearly doing. sure, the ring is a little crowded, but same as all the hunter shows and warm up rings. most horses are being held anyway.
@pawsshls But it's not how we should be teaching our horse.....look at her jerk the reins to get the pony to move faster..he's showing the whites of his eyes, it hurts him.
I wonder how many people know what they are doing in that whole ring 1 out of 30?? I also think that maybe you could teach the girl how to ride on her own, with reins, though knowing how to fall off is great fun to, trust me I am an expert!! That is not a big arena and maybe about 12 to many ponies.
First of all what the hell why is she waving her hands like that?? It looks stupid, and second that's not a gallop, it's a canter!

@LDloveshorses why is she acting like a complete "you know what?"
why is it a poor pony a girl is obviously learning to canter or improving her cantering on him
she's getting him to canter DUH
and waving her arms around helps her get to grips with gripping with her legs and maintaining her balance
and it doesnt sayshe is galloping it says "a gallop pony" not a galloping pony.
get your facts right before you slate
IBelongInTheSaddle99 2 months ago

JJoKKa4 1 month ago
@JJoKKa4 i was not critisizing the child(did u not see the "no offence to the kid" in the comment?) critisizing the child wasnt the point of my comment at all, so please think before u critsize me about critisizing a child that i really wasnt even critisizing. thanks.
LDloveshorses 1 month ago
@LDloveshorses

Just thought you were one of those people "kill the baby save the whale"
I am sorry again.
genaRussiaUS 1 month ago
@genaRussiaUS well, honestly, i dont know if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but if it is a bad thing, then i promiss i'm not. i love whales... haha but i am sorry that i was rude to you in the other comment, the other people were just getting me upset because they thaught that i was hating on the little girl, which i wasnt.

SikKuntwog92 2 months ago
hahahaha everyone freaking out because the pony is only cantering - you've got to admist it's adrable anyway! people need to get over themselves, different words mean different things in different countries - i mean america and englan both speak english, but in england (i believe, correct me if i'm wrong) They call a horse blanket a rug, while in america we refer to them as blankets, and a rug is something that goes on the floor in your house... its all a matter of perspective, just get over it!
Dawnpaw 2 months ago
@Dawnpaw I'm British, speak English, and we do indeed call it a rug :3

@horsefanatic2 no they never sed tht the pony is clled gallop u idiot!
horsecrazyhere 2 months ago
@horsecrazyhere You have no right to call me an idiot. If sunshine123276 is correct then i thinks thats cool but hey! i am from canada and have never been to Russia. And yes read the tittle, wait is a gallop pony a type of pony. I dont think so. Anyway. I just siad it was not a gallop. Why spaz on that? It true.
horsefanatic2 2 months ago
She is amazing! SO sweet! It must stink to ride in such a crowded arena, but she is doing so well! Amazingly balanced! She will be an amazing rider one day. Besides, so what if she didn't gallop? Just sitting on a horse is a lot for a 3 year old! Anyway, what were you doing when you were three?
horsesrmylife78 2 months ago 2
That is exelent riding for a 3 year old !! but the horse only did a canter, not a gallop, but because the person who put the vidio up didn't speak english as a first laungage they wrote the wrong gate in the title.so to clarify for all people the pony only cantered not galloped, but that was still amazing riding for a 3 year old!!!!! :)

TedAndHannah123 2 months ago
why are everyone telling her it's canter not gallop? maybe it is, but it says it's in russia so the person that posted this video is maybe not english, and I know cus I'm not english, It's hard to know all the words. I've always thought canter and gallop was the same thing, so don't get mad just cus she wrote the wrong word.

katharnden97 2 months ago
... are you guys kidding? this is how we should be teaching kids to ride. she's only three, and look how balanced she is! it's better to start riders out with no reins on a line like this, to teach them how to balance on their seat and not hands, as she's clearly doing. sure, the ring is a little crowded, but same as all the hunter shows and warm up rings. most horses are being held anyway.
pawsshls 2 months ago
@pawsshls But it's not how we should be teaching our horse.....look at her jerk the reins to get the pony to move faster..he's showing the whites of his eyes, it hurts him.
JasperIsaLittleHorse 2 months ago
I wonder how many people know what they are doing in that whole ring 1 out of 30?? I also think that maybe you could teach the girl how to ride on her own, with reins, though knowing how to fall off is great fun to, trust me I am an expert!! That is not a big arena and maybe about 12 to many ponies.
haleyartin 2 months ago
@haleyartin Not to mention the way they handle a horse. JERK JERK JERK! FASTER PONY!
