I love the way this explodes into an opening of stupendous Black Metal, with cymbals crashing like waves, before changing gear into beautiful shoegaze melodies and histrionic shrieking. Then concluding with a different song completely. Outstanding.

@HairyLarious No it's not Shoegaze, it is inspired by that genre from late 80's early 90's but it's not shoegaze, it's Blackgaze, Black Metal with Shoegaze elements. Slowdive, Ride, My Bloody Valentine, Chapterhouse etc. are Shoegaze bands from late 80's early 90's. And Alcest, Silence of the Old Man, Dopamine,Onryo,Lantlos,Shyy,Am­esoeurs are Blackgaze from mid 2000-now.
