This isnt 100% fair. The 3G S has more battery while the 3G is almost dead. Some electronics, like laptops, mp3 players, etc, use less of their resource when they are low on batteries.

Three reasons why this test was unfair.....

1. the 3g had almost no battery-makes a big difference

2 .the 3g had over 7 pages of apps, 3gs had 1.5

3. the 3g is much older, compare a new 3g and a new 3gs

It's faster yes but honestly its like 1-2 seconds tops and in reality that's not really a big deal lets be serious. To go out and buy something so it can load 1-2 seconds faster for 300-600 dollars and a camera feature with somewhat poor quality video? insane.
